PARISH RETREAT:
Today, 14th February. 1st Session 10 to
10:45am and 2nd Session 1pm-2.30pm.
Enrolment sheet at the back of the church.
EVENING MASS AT 7PM FOLLOWED BY
STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
On the following Fridays: 19th and 26th
February and 4th and 11th March at 7pm
MASS WITH ANOINTING OF THE SICK:
Sat 20th Feb 12noon.
GUIDED PRAYER:
Introductory meeting 21st February 10am
10:45am, in the Parish Hall. Enrolment sheet
at the back of the church.
PASSOVER MEAL:
will take place on Wednesday 16th March at
7pm in the Parish Hall. Tickets are available
from Mariantha and Germaine.
PENITENTIAL SERVICE:
Friday 18th March 7:30pm.

YEAR OF MERCY:
The next Year of Mercy formation will take
place Saturday 13th February after the 6pm
Mass and Sunday 14th February in the Parish
Hall from 10am to 10:45am. The theme is:
The Holy Door. What does your holy door
look like? If you will like to attend please
write down you name in the list that is in the
back of the church.
ADORATION WITH THE BLESSED
SACRAMENT FOR THE YEAR OF MERCY will
take place on the Wednesday 24th February
at 7pm in the Verbum Dei Spirituality Center.

24HOURS FOR THE LORD: on the 4th and 5th
of March we will celebrate 24 hours of prayer
PARISH ACTIVITIES:
BRING & BUY CAKE SALE: THANKS to all
who donated delicious cakes and bought
cakes which raised the sum of 244.
TEAS /COFFEE In the parish hall after the
9am and 11am Masses.
FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT: The Fairtrade
fortnight is an annual event in which fair and
ethical trading values are celebrated. This
year we would have a BIG BREW on
Saturday 27th Feb. after the 6pm Mass and
on Sunday 28th Feb, after each Mass.
Parishioners are invited to bring in Fairtrade
cakes and biscuits on the day 27/ 28th
February. A daily cuppa for you can mean
clean water for tea farmers and workers.
The next FILM NIGHT is on Sunday 6th March
at 5pm, showing "The Green Years", a film
about an orphaned Irish boy being brought up
by his grand-parents in Scotland. All are
welcome.
ST PATRICKS CELEBRATION: Our St
Patricks celebration with Traditional
Bacon & Cabbage Dinner/Social SUNDAY,
16th MARCH FROM 5:00pm to 9.00pm Join
us to celebrate St Patrick. Ticket 10 per
Adult; 4.50 child (primary school to age
10); pre-school/baby free Tickets available
soon. Watch this space!!
DANCE/EXERCISE: in the Parish Hall on
Mondays from 10am 11am 2.50 per
person. Please contact Sr. Gill or Candy.
CAFOD Lent Fast Day: Friday 19 February.
CAFOD Lent Fast Day: Friday 19th
February - This Lent, every pound you give
will be matched pound for pound by the UK
Government. Please collect a Fast Day
envelope at Mass and return it with your
donation for next weekend's retiring CAFOD
collection (20/21 February). Thank you.
