We make a frequentist analysis of the parameter space of minimal supergravity (mSUGRA), in which, as well as the gaugino and scalar soft supersymmetry-breaking parameters being universal, there is a specific relation between the trilinear, bilinear and scalar supersymmetry-breaking parameters, A_0 = B_0 + m_0, and the gravitino mass is fixed by m_{3/2} = m_0. We also consider a more general model, in which the gravitino mass constraint is relaxed (the VCMSSM). [...]

Varying the Universality of Supersymmetry-Breaking Contributions to MSSM Higgs Boson Masses / Ellis, John R. (CERN) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.) ; Sandick, Pearl (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.)
We consider the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM) with varying amounts of non-universality in the soft supersymmetry-breaking contributions to the Higgs scalar masses. In addition to the constrained MSSM (CMSSM) in which these are universal with the soft supersymmetry-breaking contributions to the squark and slepton masses at the input GUT scale, we consider scenarios in which both the Higgs scalar masses are non-universal by the same amount (NUHM1), and scenarios in which they are independently non-universal (NUHM2). Phenomenological Indications of the Scale of Supersymmetry / Ellis, John R. (CERN) ; Heinemeyer, Sven (Zaragoza U.) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.) ; Weiglein, Georg (Durham U., IPPP)
Electroweak precision measurements can provide indirect information about the possible scale of supersymmetry already at the present level of accuracy. We update the present-day sensitivities of precision data using the new experimental top-quark mass, m_t = 172.7 \pm 2.9 GeV, within the constrained minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (CMSSM), in which there are three independent soft supersymmetry-breaking parameters m_{1/2}, m_0 and A_0. We make frequentist analyses of the CMSSM, NUHM1, VCMSSM and mSUGRA parameter spaces taking into account all the public results of searches for supersymmetry using data from the 2010 LHC run and the Xenon100 direct search for dark matter scattering. The LHC data set includes ATLAS and CMS searches for jets + ETslash events (with or without leptons) and for the heavier MSSM Higgs bosons, and the upper limit on bs to mu mu including data from LHCb as well as CDF and D0. On the basis of frequentist analyses of experimental constraints from electroweak precision data, g-2, B physics and cosmological data, we investigate the parameters of the constrained MSSM (CMSSM) with universal soft supersymmetry-breaking mass parameters, and a model with common non-universal Higgs masses (NUHM1). We present chi^2 likelihood functions for the masses of supersymmetric particles and Higgs bosons, as well as b to s gamma, b to mu mu and the spin-independent dark matter scattering cross section. Supersymmetric Benchmarks with Non-Universal Scalar Masses or Gravitino Dark Matter / De Roeck, A. (CERN) ; Ellis, John R. (CERN) ; Gianotti, F. (CERN) ; Moortgat, F. (CERN) ; Olive, K.A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.) ; Pape, L. (CERN ; Zurich, ETH)
We propose and examine a new set of benchmark supersymmetric scenarios, some of which have non-universal Higgs scalar masses (NUHM) and others have gravitino dark matter (GDM). The scalar masses in these models are either considerably larger or smaller than the narrow range allowed for the same gaugino mass m_{1/2} in the constrained MSSM (CMSSM) with universal scalar masses m_0 and neutralino dark matter. Implications of Initial LHC Searches for Supersymmetry / Buchmueller, O. (Imperial Coll., London) ; Cavanaugh, R. (Fermilab ; Illinois U., Chicago) ; Colling, D. The CMS and ATLAS Collaborations have recently published the results of initial direct LHC searches for supersymmetry analyzing ~ 35/pb of data taken at 7 TeV in the centre of mass. We incorporate these results into a frequentist analysis of the probable ranges of parameters of simple versions of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM), namely the constrained MSSM (CMSSM), a model with common non-universal Higgs masses (NUHM1), the very constrained MSSM (VCMSSM) and minimal supergravity (mSUGRA). Direct Detection of Dark Matter in the MSSM with Non-Universal Higgs Masses / Ellis, John R. (CERN) ; Ferstl, Andy (Winona State U.) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.) ; Santoso, Yudi (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.)
We calculate dark matter scattering rates in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM), allowing the soft supersymmetry-breaking masses of the Higgs multiplets, m_{1,2}, to be non-universal (NUHM). Compared with the constrained MSSM (CMSSM) in which m_{1,2} are required to be equal to the soft supersymmetry-breaking masses m_0 of the squark and slepton masses, we find that the elastic scattering cross sections may be up to two orders of magnitude larger than values in the CMSSM for similar LSP masses. Exploration of the MSSM with Non-Universal Higgs Masses / Ellis, Jonathan Richard (CERN) ; Falk, T ; Olive, Keith A ; Santoso, Y
We explore the parameter space of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM), allowing the soft supersymmetry-breaking masses of the Higgs multiplets, m_{1,2}, to be non-universal (NUHM). Compared with the constrained MSSM (CMSSM) in which m_{1,2} are required to be equal to the soft supersymmetry-breaking masses m_0 of the squark and slepton masses, the Higgs mixing parameter mu and the pseudoscalar Higgs mass m_A, which are calculated in the CMSSM, are free in the NUHM model.
