One of the more noteworthy features is the fact you now get Apricorns. Apricorns can be found from Berry Trees or from a girl who appears at random places throughout the Isle of Armor who will give you 4 in exchange for 100 Watts. This lets you create Poké Balls. However, the Poké Balls you get from Apricorns are much more random than standard items, but rather are based on the colour of Apricorns. You can also Mix and match to try and get certain Poké Balls, however the same combination can produce multiple different kinds of balls. The calculation also pulls from each pull based on the proportion of colour Apricorns you use so if you have 2 kinds of Apricorn, it'll half the odds of a specific ball

When you receive your first special Apricorn Ball, Hyde will mention that he learned how to do it from a man from the Johto region, but he's not as skilled as him so can't create them as well as he can, which is why they aren't guaranteed.

There is also a slim chance that you will receive 5 Balls instead of 1. This is a 1% chance for standard balls and a 0.1% chance for Apricorn Balls, Safari Balls and Sport Balls
You can only get Safari Balls if all Apricorns are the same colour, otherwise you have a chance of Sport Ball
