Course Objective: Course is designed to impart knowledge on functioning, building and management of
information systems. It equips students with modeling and analytical skills to meet challenges of dynamic business
environment.
Main objectives are:
(1) To understand significance of information systems in business
(2) To know process involved in design and development of information systems
(3) To realize emerging challenges in managing new-age information systems.
Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course a student is expected to understand the significance of information
systems in business and apply the IT knowledge for better decision making.
