"Now where did I leave that ass-whupping?"

Quickmix is an absent-minded chemist whose demeanor is nearly as volatile as the chemicals he works with. He is accomplished in his trade, and is readily capable of devising new compounds and ways of combating the Decepticons, but his impatience and absent-mindedness often results in unfinished projects and experiments. He has a short temper and his Autobot allies make sure to give him a wide berth because of it. After all, the dude works with chemicals. This isn't the only reason they might avoid him though, since despite his own absent-minded nature Quickmix often seeks to give his teammates helpful "advice" on how to do their jobs, sometimes even in the middle of a battle.

Quickmix is a "Double" Targetmaster, and is partnered with the Nebulans Boomer and Ricochet.

He continued serving Emirate Xaaron, and took command of holding the line at Autobase against Unicron's agents while Xaaron fled to safety, even having the cajones to stand up to Galvatron himself. Trigger-Happy!

As part of a sting operation to capture two Decepticons delivering battle plans, Quickmix, Landfill, and Scoop posed as ordinary construction vehicles to funnel them into an ambush. Unfortunately, the mission was botched when Backstreet, their lookout, fired his weapon prematurely, giving away the Autobots' presence and position. Rather than face the consequences of his actions, Backstreet went on the run, forcing the rest of the Autobots to hunt down their rogue comrade. Two days into the chase, Quickmix's hunting party learned the full story behind Backstreet's flight from justice; Override had exaggerated Optimus's anger over the situation after Backstreet's initial foul-up, and told the Trigger-bot that Optimus would call for his termination! Once the matter was cleared up, Optimus was able to convince Backstreet to return home. Trigger-Happy!

Marvel UK future timelines

In an alternate 1991, Quickmix was part of a unit under Hot Rod's command during the Decepticon Civil War. Scorponok, the leader of one faction, deliberately surrendered to Quickmix's trio, knowing that the Autobot Code would compel them to protect the life of a willing prisoner in their custody. Scorponok was easily able to escape after pitting his foes against each other. Aspects of Evil!

In 2009, Quickmix was serving on the Autobot bridge crew with Red Alert when they fled the Decepticon controlled Cybertron. Their leader, Rodimus Prime, was possessed by the evil of Unicron, and sabotaged their ship so that it was forced into an out-of-control landing, with the retro-rockets firing only at the last second. Edge of Impact Quickmix's deactivated body was seen in the aftermath, although whether he was taken off-line in the crash or from facing his insane leader was unclear. Shadow of Evil

Small Targetmaster Quickmix was a fairly prominent Autobot, constantly seeing action against the evil Decepticons and backed up by two mini-robots that could transform into guns! Unfortunately, in his first bit of action in Alaska, he switched off his guidance systems (which ensured you don't shoot your own side) to increase his reaction time and ended up shooting an Autobot Minibot by mistake. Optimus told him off and gave him a sales catalog a lecture on the current Autobots and Decepticons so the same mistake wouldn't happen again. Attack at Dawn

Quickmix concretes all the Decepticons into a living death. Nice one!

When the Decepticons went to ground on Nebulos, Quickmix was sent with Quickswitch and Scoop to locate them. When Quickswitch returned with news of the base, he and Scoop sealed up the only exit with concrete made from Nebulite so the Decepticons remained trapped, and the Nebulos campaign, possibly the war itself, was ended. So not only did he help end the war, he did so in an incredibly gruesome way. Decepticons Underground

Blasted time-travel experiments.

Many millions of years ago, on the planet Cybertron, life existed. But not life as we know it today. Intelligent robots that could think and feel inhabited the cities. Apparently among those robots were the Autobots Landfill, Quickmix, and Scoop, who transformed from their vehicle modes and shot at some unknown attackers. G2: More than Meets the Eye, Part 1

Footage from the commercial featuring the Autobot "Double Targetmaster" trio was spliced into the Generation 2 version of the episode by way of the Cybernet Space Cube. Outside of this, the only other "appearance" by the Double Targetmasters in The Transformers was reuse of the same commercial animation in the season 5 title sequence.

After the threat of Unicron passed, Quickmix was one of several Autobot scientists who challenged Rodimus Prime's decision to send out exploration ships and establish early-warning reconnaissance posts to prevent future threats from reaching Cybertron unopposed. It seems his counsel was wise, as three of the five ships were never heard from again. Betrayal

Three Monologues - Quickmix and pals.jpg
First appearance: Robots in Disguise #20

Quickmix was part of the neutral population of Iacon following the end of the war. When the Autobots were banished from the city, Fixit refused to leave his injured comrades behind, but Starscream argued that the city already had experienced medics Quickmix and Flatline at its disposal. Second Exodus Aided by Ricochet and Boomer, Quickmix got to work treating those who were injured during the Decepticon attack on Iacon. Three Monologues

Together with his partners and Landfill, Quickmix was present when the Transformers celebrated the defeat of the Necrotitan and return of the Lost Light. The Becoming He went on to concoct a type of toxic fuel known as Fool's Energon that would allow the Autobots to keep Megatron weakened during his time as co-captain of the Lost Light, Predestination: A Beginner's Guide although it was later revealed to be nothing more than standard Energon with an altered color and taste, intended to act as a placebo. Beast Wars: Uprising

CulturalAppropriation QuickmixMicroTrailer.jpg

Quickmix became a member of the Constructicons after the Armistice, although he retained his Autobot allegiance. Hot Rod helped reform the team, creating a 2/3rds Autobot roster and convincing the Constructicons to undergo Micromaster downsizing, losing social hierarchy among the Builders but retaining their mobility in the energon-depleted era. Micro-Aggressions Cultural Appropriation

During the Grand Uprising, Quickmix and the Constructicons served the Builders against the Resistance. They ran a prisoner transport through Proximax to Iacon when they were attacked by Resistance fighters. The prisoner, Snapper, escaped, but Quickmix's team found themselves in a prolonged battle with the Resistance which lasted over a day. They retreated to the Sights & Sounds casino for defense. Meanwhile, one of their members—Buckethead—had formed an alliance with Snapper and a motley crew of other bots to deal with the alien threat of the Antares Eight. Buckethead and Rampage of the Resistance eventually reached both sides and got them to join forces against the Renegade invaders.

At the trans-hyperwave caster the Renegades seized, Quickmix and the Constructicons joined Buckethead's "Ex-Bots" in attacking the invaders. The Constructicons formed Devastator, fighting the Monster Renegade combiner Monsterous. After the fight, all Cybertronians retired to Sights & Sounds for a summit. The Ex-Bots ultimately convinced Quickmix and the Constructicons to leave the Builders and act as part of an independent faction to protect the innocents of Proximax and defend the city from the horrors of war. Cultural Appropriation

The Constructicons and the Ex-Bots prevented Tarantulas from using a Robo-Smasher to brainwash all the people of Proximax. They also recovered the Autobot-turned-Maximal Grimlock from his control. As the Vehicon Apocalypse began, the Ex-Bots chose to get involved with the other armies of the proto-races. Quickmix and the Constructicons salvaged a lobotomized Sweep and retrofitted and detailed it as the team's new Ex-Jet.

On the march to Nova Cronum, the Constructicons formed Devastator to wade through the hordes of Vehicons. At the Grand Mal itself, Devastator joined forces with the Maximal combiner Magnaboss. Their combined assault weakened the Grand Mal's force field enough for Lord Imperious Delirious to take note of them, and fire the massive optic ray at the combiners. Devastator pushed Magnaboss out of the way. Magnaboss lost an arm, a fifth of his gestalt mind, but Devastator suffered worse. Half his components were damaged beyond repair, and the Builder combiner was out for the rest of the fight.

Although the war was won, and peace finally came to Cybertron, the Constructicons were in mourning. With the death of Hightower, Long Haul, and Bone Crusher, half of Quickmix's team was dead. Derailment

Time marched on. The Constructicons emerged as heroes of the Vehicon Apocalypse, and so it was decided to hold auditions to fill the gaps in their roster. Rubbish's Scrapyard in Hexima became the Constructicon training grounds as Skavenger, Buckethead, and Quickmix supervised the new potential recruits. Eventually, Wideload, Road Hauler, and Steam Hammer were chosen. Devastator, champion of the Builders, would live again! The Inexorable March
