Dammit, I'm a doctor, now give me your purse!

Fixit approaches life with a never-say-die, never-quit attitude. His unwillingness to give up on even the most hopeless of causes earned him the leadership of the Rescue Patrol, a position that came as something of a surprise to him. When then-leader Stakeout's overly-aggressive, rule-breaking methods had gotten the Patrol into trouble with Autobot command one too many times, Fixit took it upon himself to counsel his commander. Stakeout eventually ceded command to Fixit, realizing it was for the betterment of not just the Patrol, but for the Autobot army in general. It certainly helped his decision that Fixit is not only one of the best medical minds Cybertron has ever produced, but he's also quite handy with a laser rifle when the chips are down.[1]

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

Fixit was one of several Micromasters who joined up with the Autobot cause after the Micros chose sides in the war. He was present in the Autobot barracks when Big Daddy and Sidetrack had their scuffle, and saw the Hot Rod Patrol walk out on the army. Destined for Nothing Later, in Little Iacon, Fixit had a ring-side seat to a brawl brewing between Trip-Up and Roller Force. On the sidelines, Fixit showed himself to be a little more naive than his fellow Micros: when he pointed out it was against the rules for Roller Force to have a weapon in the bar, the others just stared at him incredulously. The Gray Race

The point was driven home again a few hours later when Venom and his Decepticons attacked the Micromasters. Fixit was all, like, "Oh no! None of us are armed!", and the other Micros just laughed at him and drew out scrap-loads of weaponry from hidden places on their bodies. It didn't prove to be enough, however, and the Decepticons corraled the Micromasters together, demanding they choose sides then and there against the Autobots. When the Decepticon Micromaster known as Blaze Master tossed in his purple badge at these heavy-handed tactics, Barrage blasted the turncoat, and Fixit tended to his injuries. Recipe for Hate The Autobot Micromasters were taken back to Decepticon headquarters and imprisoned, but Groundshaker and the Hot Rod Patrol managed to break Fixit and his buddies out of the holding cells. After reaching the site of the latest battle between the guzzler factions, Fixit started triage work on the injured Autobots. Tragically, there were still casualties, including Sidetrack of the Battle Patrol. Victims of the Revolution

Bullets He and Kaput repaired Springer after his battle with Overlord, though they were unable to wake him up from his coma. Zero Point After the end of the war, Fixit became the chief Autobot medic in Iacon and assisted the Protectobots after a massive explosion mysteriously went off, killing nine Transformers and injuring several others. Later, when Wheeljack and Silverbolt interrupted his medical care with an argument, he pleaded with them to leave, but he was shoved aside. Then he assisted the Protectobots again after the second explosion which killed thirty-five Transformers. Stick Together Fixit later reported to Bumblebee about Sky Lynx's medical condition after the latter crash-landed. Night and the City

City on Fire He received many wounded during the Decepticon riots that began in the wake of Megatron's return, and contacted Autobot High Command to ask for help when the ground suddenly began shaking. Before the Dawn The cause of this turned out to be Devastator, who attacked Fixit's med-center and forced him to evacuate his patients. Plan for Everything The Autobots were able to defeat Megatron, only to be banished into the wilderness when Starscream turned the neutral faction against both them and the Decepticons. Fixit protested against Starscream's decision, unwilling to leave the wounded behind, but ultimately chose to leave as the alternative was renouncing the Autobots and accepting Starscream as his leader. After leaving Iacon, Bumblebee collapsed from injuries sustained during the battle, so Fixit repaired him using Goldfire shielding and parts of his old Earth mode. Second Exodus

Fixit later returned to Iacon to help Flatline treat the injured NAILs as part of Prowl's plan to fight Shockwave and the Necrotitan. He and Flatline did not agree on each other's methods of running a medical center. Burning Bright Nevertheless, they worked together and with Ratchet to repair the damaged Autobots and Decepticons during a lull in the fighting, and assisted in the body upgrades of several warriors, including Arcee. Beast Wars: Uprising

After a break-in into the Forever Vaults left one of its guards, Cop-Tur, injured but alive, he was placed under the care of First Aid and Fixit.
