Measurement of the Weak Dipole Moments of the $\tau$ Lepton / L3 Collaboration
Using the data collected by the L3 experiment at LEP from 1991 to 1995 at energies around the $\Zo$ mass, a measurement of the weak anomalous magnetic dipole moment, $a^w_{\tau}$,~ and of the weak electric dipole moment, $d^w_{\tau}$, of the $\tau$ lepton is performed. These quantities are obtained from angular distributions in $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow\tau^{+}\tau^{-} \rightarrow h^{+} \bar{\nu}_{\tau} h^{-} \nu_{\tau}$, where $h$ is a $\pi$ or a $\rho$. [...]

Search for Excited Leptons in $e^+ e^-$ Annihilation at $\sqrt{s}$ = 161 GeV / L3 Collaboration

Measurement of $D_{s}^{-} \to \tau^{-}\overline{\nu}_\tau$ and a New Limit for $B^- \to \tau^{- }\overline{\nu}_\tau$ / L3 Collaboration
Using a data sample of 1,475,000 $\ZQQG$ events collected during 1994 with the L3 detector at LEP, we have studied the purely leptonic decays of heavy flavour mesons, $\Dtau$ and $\Btau$. Measurement of $\tau$ polarisation at LEP / L3 Collaboration
Using the data collected with the L3 detector at LEP between 1990 and 1995, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 149 pb$^{-1}$, the $\tau$ longitudinal polarisation has been measured as a function of the production polar angle using the $\tau$ decays \thad\ ($\rm h = \pi, \rho, \aone$) and \tlep\ ($\rm \ell = e, \mu$). From this measurement the quantities æl~and \at, which depend on the couplings of the electron and the $\tau$ to the Z, are determined to be $\ael = 0.1678 \pm 0.0127 \pm 0.0030 $ and $\at = 0.1476 \pm 0.0088 \pm 0.0062$, consistent with the hypothesis of e--$\tau$ universality. Search for new physics in energetic single photon production in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation at the Z resonance / L3 Collaboration
Using a sample of $\mathrm{e^{+}e^{-}}$ annihilation events collected with the L3 detector at the Z resonance corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 pb$^{-1}$, we have searched for anomalous production of $\gamma \mathrm{X}$ final states where $\mathrm{X}$ represents stable, weakly interacting particles and the photon energy is greater than 15 GeV.
