Phenomenology of a Deconstructed Electroweak Force / Davighi, Joe (Zurich U. ; CERN) ; Gosnay, Alastair (Glasgow U.) ; Miller, David J. (Glasgow U.) ; Renner, Sophie (Glasgow U.)
We study an effective theory of flavour in which the $SU(2)_L$ interaction is `flavour-deconstructed' near the TeV scale. This arises, for example, in UV models that unify all three generations of left-handed fermions via an $Sp(6)_L$ symmetry. [...]

Collider constraints on electroweakinos in the presence of a light gravitino / GAMBIT Collaboration
Using the GAMBIT global fitting framework, we constrain the MSSM with an eV-scale gravitino as the lightest supersymmetric particle, and the six electroweakinos (neutralinos and charginos) as the only other light new states. We combine 15 ATLAS and 12 CMS searches at 13 TeV, along with a large collection of ATLAS and CMS measurements of Standard Model signatures. [...]

Search for W' to tb decays in the all-hadronic final state using the shower deconstruction top tagger in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / Dattagupta, Aparajita (University of Oregon) /ATLAS Collaboration
A search for W'-boson production in the W' --> tb -->qqbb decay channel is presented using 36.1 fb-1 of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in 2015 and 2016. The search is interpreted in terms of both a left-handed and right-handed chiral W' boson within the mass range 1--5 TeV. [...]

On Amplitudes and Field Redefinitions / Cohen, Timothy (CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Oregon U.) ; Lu, Xiaochuan (UC, San Diego) ; Sutherland, Dave (Glasgow U.)
We derive an off-shell recursion relation for correlators that holds at all loop orders. This allows us to prove how generalized amplitudes transform under generic field redefinitions, starting from an assumed behavior of the one-particle-irreducible effective action. [...]

Effective Field Theory of the Two Higgs Doublet Model / Banta, Ian (UC, Santa Barbara) ; Cohen, Timothy (CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Oregon U.) ; Craig, Nathaniel (UC, Santa Barbara ; Santa Barbara, KITP) ; Lu, Xiaochuan (UC, San Diego) ; Sutherland, Dave (Glasgow U.)
We revisit the effective field theory of the two Higgs doublet model at tree level. The introduction of a novel basis in the UV theory allows us to derive matching coefficients in the effective description that resum important contributions from the Higgs vacuum expectation value. [...]

Higgs pair production is a crucial phenomenological process in deciphering the nature of the TeV scale and the mechanism underlying electroweak symmetry breaking. At the Large Hadron Collider, this process is statistically limited. [...]
