1. An investor buys Rs. 12,000 worth of company shares each month. During the first
5 months, he bought the shares at Rs.100, Rs.120, Rs.150, Rs.200, and Rs.240 per
share respectively. After 5 months, what is the average price (Harmonic mean) paid
by him for the shares??
2. A bus runs at a speed of 60 kph over 50 kilometers, the next 30 kilometers at a speed of
40 kph, the next 20 kilometers at a speed of 30 kph, and a final run of 50 kilometers at
a speed of 25 kph. What is the average speed in kilometers per hour?
3. If the correlation between X and Y is 0.3, what is the correlation coefficient between 2X
and 3Y?
