PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR INCOME GENERATING PROJECT


SY 2021-2022

IV. Rationale

Income Generating Project is one of the programs of the school that provides

big help in our school expenses. In order to support this project, the undersigned

wants to initiate the aforementioned project to somehow help the school in its

expenses. Together with some of the teachers, through the help of the school head,

the plan should be executed.

1. To offer practical learning experience among the teachers.

VIII. Mechanics and Implementation

Schools are encouraged to establish Income Generating Projects (IGP’s) It should be

founded on the concept of earning while learning. Prior to the implementation of an IGP, a

project proposal should be drafted to determine its feasibilities and profitability. The project

proposal should be submitted and approved by the principal. Initial capital for the IGP can be

sourced from the MOOE subject for replacement but for this undertaking, the proponent shall

finance the project. Financial and narrative records regarding the operation of the IGP should

be filed. A monthly record of the operation of the IGP should be presented to the faculty and

other staff while a yearly financial statement should be prepared to be audited by the Faculty

Club Secretary and representative of PTA. After deducting all the expenses incurred in the

operation, the following sharing shall be followed.

Income can be utilized to augment the MOOE and expand or establish new projects.

Income derived from the IGP shall be held by the Faculty Club Treasurer.

The funds may be utilized to cove (i) expenses directly incurred in the manufacturing and

production activities (ii) expenses necessary to cover some school sustained projects or

enterprises and other programs of the school.

Generally, there will be four levels of management in the IGP Organization. These are (a.)

School Head (b) production coordinator (c) marketing coordinator and (d) supply coordinator

IGP Management Functions

School Head

The management of the IGP is heaed by the head of the school, her function and

responsibilities in the governance and management of the different IGPs are inherent in her

position.

Production Coordinator

Assists the school head in the operations of the IGP

Takes charge in the over-all operations of the IGP

Marketing Coordinator

Assists the school head in the operations of the IGP

Takes charge of the marketing and promotion aspects of the IGP

Supply Coordinator

Assist the school head in the operation of the IGP

Takes charge in the procurement of supplies needed in the operation of the IGP

Faculty club treasurer
