COORDINATION

One of the skill related components is coordination. Whereby, this component integrates
eye, hand and foot movement in determining the movement of the body. Also, it is the ability of
body parts to work together in performing an activity. It is typically measured using tests of hand-
eye or foot-eye coordination such as throwing, catching or bouncing a ball.
Coordination is a complex skill that requires good levels of other fitness components such
as balance, strength and agility. On a sporting field, someone who appears to be well coordinated
may also be displaying good timing.
