LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE - KINDER

I.

Objectives: at the end of the lesson, 75% of the pupils are expected to:
Identify animals that lived on land, on air, on water, and both on land and
water;
Give examples of animals that lived on land, air, water, and both on land and
water; and
Explain ways on how to show kindness to animals.

B. Review:
- Animal Sounds:
Let the pupils recall the sounds of different animals.
C. Motivation:
Old McDonald had a farm
Old MacDonald had a farm,
E-I-E-I-O.
And on his farm he had some chicks,
E-I-E-I-O.

With a chick, chick here,


And a chick, chick there,
Here a chick, there a chick,
Everywhere a chick, chick,
Old MacDonald had a farm,
E-I-E-I-O.

Ask the children what are the animals that was mentioned in the song.
D. Presentation:
- Teacher will show different pictures of animals.
E. Discussion:
- After showing the pictures of different animals, the teacher will ask the students
to describe the different animals.
- After that, the teacher will now ask: Are they lived in the same place?
- The teacher will now show the picture of land, water, and air.

These are the places where animals live. Can you describe each place?
Can you give me some animals that live on land? How about on water? On air?
Do you have pets in your house? What kind of animal is that?
Where do you think your pet live? Is it in land? in water? or in air?
Do you love your pet? How about the other animals?
What can you do to show love and kindness to animals?

F. Generalization:
- Land, Water and Air are the primary places where animals live.
- Some animals live in the land.
E.g. dog, cat, pig

Some animals live in water.


E.g. fish, shrimp, shark
Some animals live on air.
E.g. bird, butterfly, insect
Some animals can live in both land and water.
E.g. frog, turtle, crocodile
To show kindness to animals, we must:
Make sure they have clean water and healthy food.
Groom them every day if they need it.
Dont use chemicals that can be harmful to animals.
Dont litter. Put your garbage in trashcan.
Dont harm animals.
Dont forget to show them every single day that they are loved.

G. Activity:
Choose 3 pupils to stand in front and hold the picture of land, water and air.

When the teacher show the picture of animals that live in land the pupils will form
a line in front of the pupil holding a card of land and do the same for the animals
that live in water and air.

Evaluation:

Encircle the correct answer. L for land, W for water, A for air, and LW for land and water.

V.

Motivation of the Assignment


The teacher will show a smile stamp. If they do the assignment, the teacher will
give them a smile stamp and they will collect it. The pupil who got many stamp
will receive a prize from teacher.
If they do the assignment, the teacher will let them watch cartoon about animals.

Color the animals that live on land, water, air, and on both land and water.
