Guide : Manage your data stories

After the login the Home screen loads as shown below provides 2 option : Create your data stories : Selecting this option allows you to create the Mobile application which Manage your data stories : Allows users to Import the data from excel sheet into the system, configure connections into the Oracle BI, SAP BO, MS SSRS,IBM Cognos Map the data ie define the data, columns, rows etc

Lets start with the Manage your data story . Click on that option & the page as shown below loads.

Click on the tab Data as shown in the below image.

From the drop down select the option Tabular & then click on upload new. The page will load as shown below.

In the first box, name the data. For ex: Here the data is named as NPS test data. Select the other drop downs as shown in the image below & then click next

The next screen will look like this. Select the drop down EXCEL with custom mapping & then click on excel file button and then upload the file. Click next

Next select the plugin as Excel Two Stage Plugin(TCS).Click Save

The next screen will look like this. As you can see the new Data will now start showing on the page

Click on this icon to continue with data mapping. The screen as shown below will load up. Fill up the details as shown in the image below. For ex : in this case NPS Data & the description provided will appear in the dashboard.

Now click on Data tab as shown below & click on the label of the data which you would like to show as the data.

Now we will set the different levels for which we want to show the data. In this case we are picking three levels of data. Level 1 = Sales Region, Level 2 =Country, Level 3 =Device. So first click on the label tab & then click on Sales Region column label.

Defining the Level 2 : Click on the plus (+) button. Then click on the Country Column Header.

Defining the level 3: Click on the plus sign(+) & then the Device column header. After this click on Process Mapping

Next screen will look like the one below. Click on Save Mapping. Nothing needs to be changed in the drop down.

The mapping is now saved. Now we can generate reports against this data.

Other Screens :
Manage Users screen : Allows you to create, edit users etc

Clicking on Apps Tab, will show you all the builds created till date. You can click on the download button to download the Build for that particular platform.

Manage theme page: Allows you to edit the existing theme or add new themes.

To create a new theme. Click on the edit button of existing theme. The below screen appears.

Select all as shown below & then save it on a notepad.

Change the name of the theme & other colors as needed. Here we have created a new theme called Nokia Theme. Save the file.

Click on import theme button to import the latest created theme.
