VFLW
The VFLW is the premier state league competition in Victoria. The VFLW serves as the best second-tier semi-professional competition which sits underneath the fully professional AFLW.
The Southern Saints entered the VFLW in 2018 and was managed by St Kilda FC, and in 2019 Sandringham Football Club co-managed the team with St Kilda FC. After St Kilda FC entered the AFLW in 2020, Sandringham now holds the VFLW Southern Saints team license and is responsible for the commercial and operational management of the team.
Sandringham Football Club’s mission is to be a competitive community sporting organisation that provides a pathway to the AFL and AFLW. We also aim to foster an inclusive and high-performing environment that delivers a premier state level football club for men and women.
As of November 1, 2024 the Southern Saints will become the Sandringham Zebras to align with the VFL program.
