Phenotypic Shift of an Inflammatory Eosinophil Subset into a Steady-State Resident Phenotype after 2 Years of Vaccination against IL-5 in Equine Insect Bite Hypersensitivity

Eosinophils play a key role in allergic diseases such as insect bite hypersensitivity (IBH). Together with Th2 cells, they shape the course of inflammation in associated type I/IVb allergies. Therefore, a virus-like particle (VLP)-based vaccine targeting equine interleukin-5 (eIL-5), eIL-5-CuMV-TT, was developed to interfere with the IL-5 dependency of eosinophils by inducing the production of anti-self-IL-5 antibodies and alleviating clinical signs in IBH-affected horses. A previous study highlighted the presence of two eosinophil subsets, steady-state resident eosinophils (rEos) and inflammatory eosinophils (iEos), circulating in the blood of healthy and IBH-affected horses, distinguishable by the expression of integrin CD49f. Furthermore, eIL-5-CuMV-TT 1st year vaccination showed a significant decrease of total eosinophils and, in particular, iEos. Nevertheless, the very few remaining eosinophils still shared an iEos phenotype, reflected by bigger size and higher granularity. The aim of this study was to follow up on the phenotype of eosinophils in the 2nd year of vaccination of IBH-affected horses with eIL-5-CuMV-TT. Using flow cytometry analysis of the blood of healthy, IBH, IBH-placebo, and IBH-vaccinated horses, the percentage and count of cells were compared between groups with a focus on pair analysis of eosinophils in 1st and 2nd year vaccinated horses. Our data showed comparably low levels of iEos and a significant increase of rEos in 2nd year compared to 1st year vaccinated horses, suggesting a phenotypic shift toward a resident-like eosinophil population, primarily associated with the phenotype of healthy horses. The reduction of size, granularity, and expression of integrin CD49f in the 2nd year suggests a benefit of long-term treatment with the eIL-5-CuMV-TT vaccine. Full article

Background: 4-MDMB-BUTINACA, a next-generation synthetic cannabinoid, presents significant public health and forensic challenges due to its evolving nature and potential toxicity. Methods: This study evaluates the subacute toxic effects and pharmacokinetics of 4−Fluoro MDMB−BUTINACA (4F-MDMB-BUTINACA) in adult male albino rats, administered orally for seven days at doses of 1 mg/kg, 5 mg/kg, and 15 mg/kg. The hematological, biochemical, and histopathological parameters were assessed and compared to controls. Results: The pharmacokinetics were determined using GC–MS/MS with a positive chemical ionization and granisetron as an internal standard. A histological analysis revealed inflammatory cell aggregation, congestion, hemorrhage, edema, and fibrosis in various tissues, with renal examinations showing tubule degradation, glomerular atrophy, Bowman’s space expansion, edema, and hemorrhage. The liver exhibited cellular infiltration, while cardiac muscle fibers showed myocardial fiber degradation and inflammatory cell aggregation. Biochemical assays indicated significant alterations (p < 0.05) in the serum levels of AST, ALT, ALP, GGT, total protein, albumin, triglycerides, urea, MCHC, MCV, RDW, platelets, neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils compared to the controls. Conclusions: The validated bioanalytical method revealed rapid absorption of 4F-MDMB-BUTINACA, with a plasma half-life of 2.371 h, a volume of distribution of 2272.85 L, and a plasma clearance rate of 664.241 L/h. In conclusion, 4F-MDMB-BUTINACA is a highly toxic synthetic cannabinoid, particularly affecting the liver, kidneys, and heart. Full article

Introduction: Esophageal inflammatory diseases are frequent diagnoses in clinical practice and have diverse etiologies, the most common being those associated with the exposure to gastric content, drugs and allergens. In diseases, the immunological component is well identified in endoscopic biopsies, which mainly contain the epithelium and the lamina propria; however, deeper layers are less studied. Moreover, the esophageal capacity of sensing luminal compounds is poorly understood. Methods: In transmural sections from proximal, middle and distal esophagus obtained from deceased patients, we performed a phenotypic analysis of the main immune cell populations and acid-sensing receptors by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence methods. Results: A total of nine donors were studied (absence of pathology, optimal tissue preservation and orientation). We found the following: (1) the vascular papillae and the lamina propria are the most infiltrated layers by the lymphoid lineage (T and B lymphocytes), followed by the epithelium, while the smooth muscular layers are mainly populated by the myeloid lineage (macrophages and mast cells); (2) intraepithelial macrophages are consistently found along the esophagus; and (3) eosinophils are absent in all the esophageal layers. The acid-sensing receptors ASIC-1, ASIC-2 and δENAC are expressed in the esophageal epithelium and in the lamina propria, yet only ASIC-2 is expressed in the muscularis mucosae. Conclusions: The human esophagus contains a differential distribution of immune cells and acid-sensing receptors across its layers. This study extends the esophageal histological knowledge previously described and reinforces its role as a defensive and sensing organ. Full article

Mechanosensitive ion channels, particularly Piezo channels, are widely expressed in various tissues. However, their role in immune cells remains underexplored. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the functional role of Piezo1 in the human eosinophil cell line AML14.3D10. We detected Piezo1 mRNA expression, but not Piezo2 expression, in these cells, confirming the presence of the Piezo1 protein. Activation of Piezo1 with Yoda1, its specific agonist, resulted in a significant calcium influx, which was inhibited by the Piezo1-specific inhibitor Dooku1, as well as other nonspecific inhibitors (Ruthenium Red, Gd3+, and GsMTx-4). Further analysis revealed that Piezo1 activation modulated the expression and secretion of both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in AML14.3D10 cells. Notably, supernatants from Piezo1-activated AML14.3D10 cells enhanced capsaicin and ATP-induced calcium responses in the dorsal root ganglion neurons of mice. These findings elucidate the physiological role of Piezo1 in AML14.3D10 cells and suggest that factors secreted by these cells can modulate the activity of transient receptor potential 1 (TRPV1) and purinergic receptors, which are associated with pain and itch signaling. The results of this study significantly advance our understanding of the function of Piezo1 channels in the immune and sensory nervous systems. Full article

Recent studies have uncovered intriguing connections between Parkinson’s disease (PD) and cancer, two seemingly distinct disease categories. Disulfidptosis has garnered attention as a novel form of regulated cell death that is implicated in various pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Disulfidptosis involves the dysregulation of intracellular redox homeostasis, leading to the accumulation of disulfide bonds and subsequent cell demise. This has sparked our interest in exploring common molecular mechanisms and genetic factors that may be involved in the relationship between neurodegenerative diseases and tumorigenesis. The Gene4PD database was used to retrieve PD differentially expressed genes (DEGs), the biological functions of differential expression disulfidptosis-related genes (DEDRGs) were analyzed, the ROCs of DEDRGs were analyzed using the GEO database, and the expression of DEDRGs was verified by an MPTP-induced PD mouse model in vivo. Then, the DEDRGs in more than 9000 samples of more than 30 cancers were comprehensively and systematically characterized by using multi-omics analysis data. In PD, we obtained a total of four DEDRGs, including ACTB, ACTN4, INF2, and MYL6. The enriched biological functions include the regulation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, mitochondrial function, apoptosis, and tumor necrosis factor, and these genes are rich in different brain regions. In the MPTP-induced PD mouse model, the expression of ACTB was decreased, while the expression of ACTN4, INF2, and MYL6 was increased. In pan-cancer, the high expression of ACTB, ACTN4, and MYL6 in GBMLGG, LGG, MESO, and LAML had a poor prognosis, and the high expression of INF2 in LIHC, LUAD, UVM, HNSC, GBM, LAML, and KIPAN had a poor prognosis. Our study showed that these genes were more highly infiltrated in Macrophages, NK cells, Neutrophils, Eosinophils, CD8 T cells, T cells, T helper cells, B cells, dendritic cells, and mast cells in pan-cancer patients. Most substitution mutations were G-to-A transitions and C-to-T transitions. We also found that miR-4298, miR-296-3p, miR-150-3p, miR-493-5p, and miR-6742-5p play important roles in cancer and PD. Cyclophosphamide and ethinyl estradiol may be potential drugs affected by DEDRGs for future research. This study found that ACTB, ACTN4, INF2, and MYL6 are closely related to PD and pan-cancer and can be used as candidate genes for the diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic biomarkers of neurodegenerative diseases and cancers. Background: Some cases of classic Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) display similarities to nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL) in terms of architecture, leading to potential challenges in diagnosis. However, these difficulties can be overcome by conducting a thorough set of immunohistochemical examinations. Objective: To examine cases of T-cell-rich CHL that closely resemble the diagnosis of NLPHL, specifically pattern D, which can pose challenges in accurately determining the diagnosis even after conducting a thorough immunophenotypic assessment. Materials and methods: Histopathology slides of three cases of T-cell-rich CHL were retrieved and thoroughly examined to assess their clinical, immunomorphologic, and molecular features. Results: We present three cases containing cells that resembled lymphocyte predominant and Hodgkin Reed–Sternberg cells, expressing some B-cell antigens and CHL markers but all were lacking Epstein–Barr virus-encoded small RNA. All three cases were found in a background rich in T-cells with focal remaining follicular dendritic cell meshwork in one case. Only one case had few eosinophils while the other two had no background of eosinophils and plasma cells. Two patients presented with stage IIA and B-symptoms presented in one of them. Two patients were treated with four and six cycles of ABVD (doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine), respectively. One patient planned to be treated with four cycles of ABVD plus Rituximab therapy. Conclusions: Some cases of Reed–Sternberg cells can show expression of both B-cell and CHL markers. This overlapping characteristic, which has not been extensively discussed in the existing literature, presents a unique challenge for treatment. Further research into these neoplasms may reveal valuable diagnostic and therapeutic implications. Full article

Recombination-activating genes (RAGs) play a crucial role in the V(D)J recombination process and the development of immune cells. The development of the immune system and its mechanisms in pigs exhibit greater similarity to those of humans compared to other animals, thus rendering pigs a valuable tool for biomedical research. In this study, we utilized CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and somatic cell nuclear transfer technology to generate RAG2 knockout (KO) pigs. Furthermore, we evaluated the impact of RAG2 KO on the immune organs and immune cell development through morphological observations, blood analysis and flow cytometry technology. RAG2 KO cell lines were used as donors for cloning. The reconstructed embryos were transplanted into 4 surrogate sows, and after 116 days of gestation, 2 sows gave birth to 12 live piglets, all of which were confirmed to be RAG2 KO. The thymus and spleen sizes of RAG2 KO pigs were significantly smaller than those of wild-type (WT) pigs. Hematoxylin-eosin staining results revealed that the thymus and spleen tissue structures of RAG2 KO pigs were disorganized and lacked the characteristic structures, indicating that RAG2 KO leads to dysplasia of the thymus and spleen. Hematological analysis demonstrated that the total number of white blood cells and lymphocytes in the circulation of RAG2 KO pigs was significantly lower, while the number of eosinophils was higher. Flow cytometry results indicated that the proportions of mature T and B lymphocytes were significantly reduced compared to WT pigs. These findings successfully verified the immunodeficiency phenotype of RAG2 KO pigs. This study may provide experimental animals for the development of tumor models and humanized animals. Background: Esophageal organoids from a variety of pathologies including cancer are grown in Advanced Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium-Nutrient Mixture F12 (hereafter ADF). However, the currently available ADF-based formulations are suboptimal for normal human esophageal organoids, limiting the ability to compare normal esophageal organoids with those representing a given disease state. Methods: We have utilized immortalized normal human esophageal epithelial cell (keratinocyte) lines EPC1 and EPC2 and endoscopic normal esophageal biopsies to generate three-dimensional (3D) organoids. To optimize the ADF-based medium, we evaluated the requirement of exogenous epidermal growth factor (EGF) and inhibition of transforming growth factor-(TGF)-β receptor-mediated signaling, both key regulators of the proliferation of human esophageal keratinocytes. We have modeled human esophageal epithelial pathology by stimulating esophageal 3D organoids with interleukin (IL)-13, an inflammatory cytokine, or UAB30, a novel pharmacological activator of retinoic acid signaling. Results: The formation of normal human esophageal 3D organoids was limited by excessive EGF and intrinsic TGFβ-receptor-mediated signaling. Optimized HOME0 improved normal human esophageal organoid formation. In the HOME0-grown organoids, IL-13 and UAB30 induced epithelial changes reminiscent of basal cell hyperplasia, a common histopathologic feature in broad esophageal disease conditions including eosinophilic esophagitis. Conclusions: HOME0 allows modeling of the homeostatic differentiation gradient and perturbation of the human esophageal epithelium while permitting a comparison of organoids from mice and other organs grown in ADF-based media. Pulmonary Administration of TLR2/6 Agonist after Allergic Sensitization Inhibits Airway Hyper-Responsiveness and Recruits Natural Killer Cells in Lung Parenchyma

Asthma is a chronic lung disease with persistent airway inflammation, bronchial hyper-reactivity, mucus overproduction, and airway remodeling. Antagonizing T2 responses by triggering the immune system with microbial components such as Toll-like receptors (TLRs) has been suggested as a therapeutic concept for allergic asthma. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a TLR2/6 agonist, FSL-1 (Pam2CGDPKHPKSF), administered by intranasal instillation after an allergic airway reaction was established in the ovalbumin (OVA) mouse model and to analyze the role of natural killer (NK) cells in this effect. We showed that FSL-1 decreased established OVA-induced airway hyper-responsiveness and eosinophilic inflammation but did not reduce the T2 or T17 response. FSL-1 increased the recruitment and activation of NK cells in the lung parenchyma and modified the repartition of NK cell subsets in lung compartments. Finally, the transfer or depletion of NK cells did not modify airway hyper-responsiveness and eosinophilia after OVA and/or FSL-1 treatment. Thus, the administration of FSL-1 reduces airway hyper-responsiveness and bronchoalveolar lavage eosinophilia. However, despite modifications of their functions following OVA sensitization, NK cells play no role in OVA-induced asthma and its inhibition by FSL-1. Therefore, the significance of NK cell functions and localization in the airways remains to be unraveled in asthma. Full article

Inhibiting programmed death (PD)-1 signaling, in addition to causing epitope spreading, may disrupt B and T cell balance, causing excessive autoantibody production against the skin’s basement membrane, leading to BP. A 70-year-old woman developed late-onset multi-organ irAEs, including diarrhea, thyroid dysfunction, and BP, while receiving pembrolizumab, a PD-1 inhibitor. This highlights the long-term risk of irAEs, which can occur 2–3 years after starting ICIs. In cases of multi-organ irAE, C-reactive protein levels and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio are often low. These characteristics were observed in our case. Few papers address multiple organ involvement, highlighting the need to consider irAEs in a multi-organ context. While it is known that drug-induced skin reactions worsen as blood eosinophil counts increase, in our case, the eosinophil count remained normal, suggesting that ICI-associated BP might have been controlled without discontinuing the ICI and through tapering of low-dose oral prednisone treatment. Additionally, in this case, significant CD4-positive T cell infiltration was observed in the immunostaining examination of the blisters, indicating that severe CD4-positive T cell infiltration induced by the ICI might have led to multi-organ involvement, including severe diarrhea. Few reports focus on blood eosinophil counts in BP cases or discuss CD4 and CD8 immunostaining in BP cases. Therefore, future research should explore the relationship between blood eosinophil counts, immunostaining results, and the prognosis of irAEs, including BP, in treatment courses. Full article

Immune activation status determines non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) prognosis, with reported positive/negative associations for T helper type 2 (TH2) responses, including allergen-specific IgE and eosinophils. Our study seeks to explore the potential impact of these comorbid immune responses on the survival rates of patients with NSCLC. Our retrospective study used data from the Data Warehouse of the German Center for Lung Research (DZL) and Lung Biobank at Thoraxklinik Heidelberg. We estimated the association of blood eosinophilia and neutrophilia on survival rates in an inflammatory cohort of 3143 patients with NSCLC. We also tested sensitization to food and inhalants and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in a comorbidity cohort of 212 patients with NSCLC. Finally, we estimated the infiltration of immune-relevant cells including eosinophils, T-cells, and mast cells in a tissue inflammatory sub-cohort of 60 patients with NSCLC. Sensitization to at least one food or inhalant (sIgE) was higher in patients with adenocarcinoma (adeno-LC) than the non-adenocarcinoma (non-adeno-LC). Furthermore, hs-CRP was higher in non-adeno-LC compared with adeno-LC. Peripheral inflammation, particularly eosinophilia and neutrophilia, was associated with poor survival outcomes in NSCLC with a clear difference between histological subgroups. Finally, blood eosinophilia was paralleled by significant eosinophil infiltration into the peritumoral tissue in the lung. This study provides novel perspectives on the crucial role of peripheral inflammation, featuring eosinophilia and neutrophilia, with overall survival, underscoring distinctions between NSCLC subgroups (adeno-LC vs. non-adeno-LC). Peripheral eosinophilia enhances eosinophil infiltration into tumors. This sheds light on the complex interplay between inflammation, eosinophil infiltration, and NSCLC prognosis among various histological subtypes. Further studies are required to underscore the role of eosinophils in NSCLC among different histological subgroups and their role in shaping the tumor microenvironment. Full article

Allergic asthma is characterized by increased type 2 inflammation, including eosinophils. Subjects with allergic asthma have recurrent symptoms due to their constant exposure to environmental allergens, such as house dust mite (HDM), which can be further exacerbated by respiratory infections like rhinovirus. The immunoproteasome (IP) is a proteolytic machinery that is induced by inflammatory mediators during virus infection, but the role of the IP in airway allergic inflammation during rhinovirus infection remains unknown. Wild-type (WT) and IP knockout (KO) mice were challenged with HDM. At 48 h after the last HDM challenge, mice were infected with rhinovirus 1B (RV-A1B) for 24 h. After HDM and RV-A1B treatment, IP KO (vs. WT) mice had significantly more lung eosinophils and neutrophils, as well as a significantly higher viral load, but less IFN-beta expression, compared to WT mice. A TLR3 agonist polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid (Poly I:C) treatment after RV-A1B infection in HDM-challenged IP KO mice significantly increased IFN-beta expression and reduced viral load, with a minimal effect on the number of inflammatory cells. Our data suggest that immunoproteasome is an important mechanism functioning to prevent excessive inflammation and viral infection in allergen-exposed mice, and that Poly I:C could be therapeutically effective in enhancing the antiviral response and lessening the viral burden in lungs with IP deficiency. The anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anti-cancer properties, as well as the mechanism of action of cyclo-[Pro-Pro-β3-HoPhe-Phe-] tetrapeptide (denoted as 4B8M), were recently described. The aim of this work was to synthesize and evaluate the immunosuppressive actions of the stereochemical variants of 4B8M by sequential substitution of L-amino acids by D-amino acids (a series of peptides denoted as P01–P07) using parent 4B8M as a reference compound. In addition, diverse available bioinformatics tools using machine learning and artificial intelligence were tested to find the bio-pharmacokinetic and polypharmacological attributes of analyzed stereomers. All peptides were non-toxic to human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and only cyclo-[D-Pro-Pro-β3-HoPhe-Phe-] peptide (P03) was capable of inhibiting mitogen-induced PBMC proliferation. The peptides inhibited the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced production of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) to various degrees, with P04 (cyclo-[Pro-Pro-D-β3-HoPhe-Phe-]) and P03 being the most potent. For further in vivo studies, P03 was selected because it had the combined properties of inhibiting cell proliferation and TNF-α production. P03 demonstrated a comparable ability to 4B8M in the inhibition of auricle edema and lymph node cell number and in the normalization of a distorted blood cell composition in contact sensitivity to the oxazolone mouse model. In the mouse model of carrageenan-induced inflammation of the air pouch, P03 exhibited a similar inhibition of the cell number in the air pouches as 4B8M, but its inhibitory effects on the percentage of neutrophils and eosinophils in the air pouches and blood, as well as on mastocyte degranulation in the air pouches, were stronger in comparison to 4B8M. Lastly, in a mouse model of dextran sulfate-induced colitis, similar effects to 4B8M regarding thymocyte number restoration and normalization of the blood cell pictures by P03 were observed. In summary, depending on either experimental findings or in silico predictions, P03 demonstrated comparable, or even better, anti-inflammatory and bio-pharmacokinetic properties to 4B8M and may be considered as a potential therapeutic. The possibility of P00 and P03 identification by circular dichroism measurements was tested by quantum-chemical calculations. Full article

Background: Bronchiectasis (BE) has been traditionally associated with neutrophilic inflammation, but eosinophilic bronchiectasis (EB) has recently emerged. Data about prevalence, clinical features, and disease severity are lacking. This study aimed to assess the EB prevalence, compare EB with non-EB, evaluate the Type-2 (T2) high endotype in BE (T2-high EB) versus non-T2-high EB, and identify EB predictors. Methods: We conducted a prospective study involving 153 BE patients. The data collected included clinical, radiological, and microbiological findings. BE severity was assessed using the bronchiectasis severity index (BSI), FACED and E-FACED scores, and the bronchiectasis etiology and comorbidity index (BACI). EB was defined as a blood eosinophil count (BEC) ≥ 300 cells/μL, and T2-high EB as BEC ≥ 300 cells/μL with fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) ≥ 25 ppb. Results: Prevalence was 27% for EB and 20% for T2-high EB. EB patients exhibited poorer lung function and more severe radiologic features, with significantly higher severity scores [BSI, FACED, E-FACED, BACI (p < 0.05)], and a higher median exacerbation rate [4 (2–5) in EB vs. 2 (1–4) in non-EB, p = 0.0002], compared with non-EB patients. T2-high EB patients showed higher severity scores [BSI, FACED, E-FACED (p < 0.05)], as well as worse lung function parameters [FEV1%, FVC%, FEF 25–75% (p < 0.05)] compared with non-T2-high EB patients. In our study, patients with EB exhibited notably worsened lung function and higher BE severity scores compared with their non-EB counterparts, with exacerbations playing a major role in these differences. We found statistically significant positive correlations between BEC and disease severity scores, such as BSI, FACED, and mMRC, as well as an inverse relationship with pulmonary function. The likelihood of EB being present was significantly higher in association with mMRC ≥ 1 (OR = 2.53; 95% CI, 1.26–5.64), exacerbations/year ≥ 1 (OR = 1.27; 95% CI, 1.0–1.63), and chronic PA colonization (OR = 3.9; 95% CI, 1.08–15.8). Conclusions: EB is a distinct endotype. Dyspnea, exacerbations, and PA colonization may be predictive of EB, emphasizing the importance of early detection for improved outcomes. BEC could serve as a useful biomarker of disease severity to consider when diagnosing EB. Full article

The combination of cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6i) with endocrine therapy (ET) is the standard-of-care for estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, HER2-negative (ER+/HER2− advanced/metastatic breast cancer (mBC). However, the impact of CDK4/6i on circulating immune cells and circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in patients receiving CDK4/6i and ET (CDK4/6i+ET) remains poorly understood. This was a prospective cohort study including 44 patients with ER+/HER2− mBC treated with CDK4/6i+ET in either first or second line. Peripheral blood samples were collected before (baseline) and 3 months (t2) after therapy. Immune cell’s subsets were quantified by flow cytometry, and microfluidic-captured CTCs were counted and classified according to the expression of cytokeratin and/or vimentin. Patients were categorized according to response as responders (progression-free survival [PFS] ≥ 6.0 months; 79.1%) and non-responders (PFS < 6.0 months; 20.9%). CDK4/6i+ET resulted in significant changes in the hematological parameters, including decreased hemoglobin levels and increased mean corpuscular volume, as well as reductions in neutrophil, eosinophil, and basophil counts. Specific immune cell subsets, such as early-stage myeloid-derived suppressor cells, central memory CD4+ T cells, and Vδ2+ T cells expressing NKG2D, decreased 3 months after CDK4/6i+ET. Additionally, correlations between the presence of CTCs and immune cell populations were observed, highlighting the interplay between immune dysfunction and tumor dissemination. This study provides insights into the immunomodulatory effects of CDK4/6i+ET, underscoring the importance of considering immune dynamics in the management of ER+/HER2− mBC. Full article
