Andi Dorfman got candid about exclusively feeding her three-week-old daughter Harper formula.
On Thursday, the 37-year-old Bachelorette alum took to her Instagram Story to reveal that she feeds her newborn Bub brand grass-fed cow milk based power as well as goat-milk based powder formula.
The star explained that fans had slid into her DM's asking if she had been breastfeeding her baby girl to which she said: 'Okay, first and foremost, my sister and I both were formula-fed babies. So I feel like that was kind of always within my plan.
'And then I was going to use the breast pump in order to feed her breast milk, and that way I knew how much she was getting.'
The new mother said that after giving birth, Harper was rushed to the NICU where she was limited to formula, changing the star's plans to breastfeed as her baby had grown accustom to the powder mix.
And to add on top of that, she struggled to get her breast milk to fully come in.

'So I, in the hospital, tried to pump but my milk had not come in yet,' Dorfman bravely admitted.'
'She was actually doing really well on the formula so we brought a lot of that home from the hospital. I tried to pump a couple times when we got home and my milk supplies still had not come in yet.'
The brunette vixen continued, 'So we just kept on the formula. And then, big wrench got thrown in the plans — as you know, I ended up having to have surgery myself. So that, I feel like, kind of stalled the pumping as well.'
In the clip, she referred to her horrifying hospitalization just a week after welcoming her baby in late December of 2024 — undergoing an operation to remove two hematomas.
The former reality star — who welcomed her baby girl with husband Blaine Hart just weeks ago — shared she attempted to pump breastmilk 'one or two more times' but was unsuccessful, to her dismay.
'Weird part is I never had pain,' she explained. 'I didn’t have any engorgements, I didn’t have those side effects that people talk about when they stop pumping.
'I just kind of skipped over that. I don’t know if that’s because my milk supply just never came in and wasn’t going to or if I kind of missed the window of opportunity or honestly if it was just the plan making its own plan. But here we are.'
She also briefly addressed the age-long stigma between siding with breastfeeding or formula feeding.
