AbstractAbstract
[en] In this text the conception principles retained for treating the dissemination risk of radioactive matters in the French fuel cycle factories are presented. For taking into account this risk successives containment systems are used with respects to the ventilation regulations and fire protection

[en] The U(1) lattice gauge model with fermions can be expressed after integration over the fermionic variables as a ''long range gauge model'': the effective action is a sum over all possible gauge field loops with corresponding weight factors. Different behaviors of the Wilson parameter are shown according to the hypothesis on the weight factors

AbstractAbstract
[en] Definition, formalism and important results are presented. A probabilistic method is developed which enables permanent confinement to be demonstrated in dimension 3 of space time for the gauge models defined on group U(1) or a group such that its centre contains O(1). Correlation inequalities are given for the Ising gauge model defined on the discrete group Z2

AbstractAbstract
[en] Soil erosion is a major problem in some areas of Spain. Research groups have studied a variety of aspects of this problem indifferent environments, and at a range of scales using a diversity of methods, from piquettes and rainfall simulation to experimental plots, catchment and large regional areas. This has increased knowledge and identified the main problems: farmland abandonment, badlands erosion, the effects of land use changes, and the role of extreme events and erosion in certain crops (particularly vineyards). However, comparison of results among various research groups has been difficult, posing problems in developing solutions from State and Regional administrators. (Author) 73 refs.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We show that a sufficient decrease of the Wilson loop implies automatically an area decrease; i.e. the energy to separate quarks at distance L is either at most Log L or L in the Z2 case. We believe that it is a general fact on a lattice

[en] The full scope simulators used for the training of the NPP licensed personnel, are characterised by the integration of models of all the systems of the plant, so that a real time integrated response with a high degree of physical and functional fidelity may be provided. Due to these features, these simulators have showed high capabilities in the engineering field where they can support with effectiveness the design and tuning of I and C plant modifications. (Author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A simple proof is given for the existence of a sharp interface between two ordered phases for the three-dimensional 2 double-prime-state Potts model (n integer). The results show that the roughening temperature of the three-dimensional Potts model is greater than the transition temperature of the two-dimensional Potts model. For a large arbitrary spin integer, it is expected that this roughening temperature is equal to the transition temperature (of the 3D model), i.e., that the interface between two ordered phases is harp up to the transition temperature, at which it is wetted by a film of the disordered phase. It is also expected that for a large arbitrary spin integer, the a-f interface (between an ordered and the disordered phase) is sharp at the transition temperature

AbstractAbstract
[en] A mathematical model has been developed which allows the prediction of thermal effects during laser hardening. I-directional heat flow is assumed. As this study shows, a wide heat treatment range can be achieved according to the steel transformation characteristics and to the piece size. Laser heat treating introduces new interesting possibilities in the field of steel hardening.(Author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Positron emission tomography (PET) is one of the most relevant diagnostic imaging techniques having the peculiar characteristic to provide functional and quantitative information of some diseases. Its development needs the installation of production centres with cyclotrons constructed under the strict regulation applied to pharmaceutical laboratories and radioactive facilities. Average annual doses of nuclear medicine workers are noticeably higher than those of other exposed workers in medicine. The aim of this paper is to show some key aspects in the radiation protection of PET facilities. the paper deals with aspects of PET facilities design, radiation protection mechanisms, suitable working procedures, impact of new technologies for PET cameras, etc. (Author) 15 refs
