Higgs boson decays to four fermions through an abelian hidden sector / Gopalakrishna, Shrihari (Brookhaven) ; Jung, Sunghoon (Michigan U., MCTP) ; Wells, James D. (CERN ; Michigan U., MCTP)
We consider a generic abelian hidden sector that couples to the Standard Model only through gauge-invariant renormalizable operators. This allows the exotic Higgs boson to mix with the Standard Model Higgs boson, and the exotic abelian gauge boson to mix with the Standard Model hypercharge gauge boson. [...]

How to Find a Hidden World at the Large Hadron Collider / Wells, James D. (Michigan U., MCTP ; CERN)
I discuss how the Large Hadron Collider era should broaden our view of particle physics research, and apply this thinking to the case of Hidden Worlds. I focus on one of the simplest representative cases of a Hidden World, and detail the rich implications it has for LHC physics, including universal suppression of Higgs boson production, trans-TeV heavy Higgs boson signatures, heavy-to-light Higgs boson decays, weakly coupled exotic gauge bosons, and Higgs boson decays to four fermions via light exotic gauge bosons. Dark matter and Higgs boson collider implications of fermions in an abelian-gauged hidden sector / Gopalakrishna, Shrihari (Brookhaven) ; Lee, Seung J. (Weizmann Inst.) ; Wells, James D. (CERN ; Michigan U., MCTP)
We add fermions to an abelian-gauged hidden sector. We show that the lightest can be the dark matter with the right thermal relic abundance, and discovery is within reach of upcoming dark matter detectors. [...]

Non-SM Exotic Higgs: Beyond SM and MSSM / Lacaprara, Stefano (INFN, Padua) /for the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
As the precise nature of the boson recently discovered at the Large Hadron Collider remains open, the interest for other exotic Higgs particles has intensified. A review of the searches for some of these these exotic Higgs bosons, beyond standard model and minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), performed at the Tevatron and at the LHC, is presented. [...]

Non-universal minimal Z' models: present bounds and early LHC reach / Salvioni, Ennio (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Strumia, Alessandro (Pisa U. ; INFN, Pisa ; CERN) ; Villadoro, Giovanni (CERN) ; Zwirner, Fabio (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua)
We consider non-universal 'minimal' Z' models, whose additional U(1) charge is a non-anomalous linear combination of the weak hypercharge Y, the baryon number B and the partial lepton numbers (L_e, L_mu, L_tau), with no exotic fermions beyond three standard families with right-handed neutrinos. We show that the observed pattern of neutrino masses and mixing can be fully reproduced by a gauge-invariant renormalizable Lagrangian, and flavor-changing neutral currents in the charged lepton sector are suppressed by a GIM mechanism. Search for Dark Sector States at the LHC / Assamagan, Ketevi (Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Hidden sector or dark sector states appear in many extensions to the Standard Model, to provide a particle candidate for dark matter in universe or to explain astrophysical observations such the as positron excess observed in the cosmic radiation flux. A hidden or dark sector can be introduced with an additional U(1)d dark gauge symmetry. [...]

Vector Higgs-portal dark matter and the invisible Higgs / Lebedev, Oleg (DESY) ; Lee, Hyun Min (CERN) ; Mambrini, Yann (Orsay, LPT)
The Higgs sector of the Standard Model offers a unique probe of the hidden sector. In this work, we explore the possibility of renormalizable Higgs couplings to the hidden sector vector fields which can constitute dark matter (DM). [...]

Dark photon searches with the ATLAS detector at the LHC / El Jarrari, Hassnae (Rabat U.) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many extensions to the Standard Model (SM) introduce a hidden or dark sector (DS) to provide candidates for dark matter in the universe and an explanation to astrophysical observations such as the positron excess observed in the cosmic radiation flux. This hidden sector could rise from an additional U(1)d gauge symmetry. [...]
