This document presents the performance of the LHCb Upgrade trigger reconstruction sequence, incorporating changes to the underlying reconstruction algorithms and detector description since the Trigger and Online Upgrade TDR. An updated extrapolation is presented using the most recent example of an Event Filter Farm node..

The LHCb collaboration is currently preparing an update of the experiment to take data in Run 3 of the LHC. The dominant feature of this upgrade is a trigger-less readout of the full detector followed by a full software trigger. [...]

Results of the survey on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on LHCb scientists / Dordei, Francesca (Universita e INFN, Cagliari (IT)) ; Ben Haim, Eli (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (FR)) ; Cicala, Flavia (University of Warwick (GB)) ; Klaver, Suzanne (Nikhef National institute for subatomic physics (NL)) ; Kopecna, Renata (Ruprecht Karls Universitaet Heidelberg (DE)) ; Lukashenko, Valeriia (Nikhef National institute for subatomic physics (NL)) ; Skidmore, Nicole (University of Bonn (DE))
In this note, we report the outcomes of a survey of LHCb scientists carried out during December 2020 regarding the social response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey was completed by 199 people, corresponding to about 14% of the collaboration. [...]

ATLAS ITk Pixel Pre-production Planar Sensor Characterisation for the HL-LHC Upgrade / ATLAS Collaboration
In the ATLAS detector upgrade for the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), the current Inner Detector will be replaced with an all-silicon Inner Tracker (ITk), to operate under higher occupancy (instantaneous luminosity $7.5\times10^{34}\;\rm cm^{-2}s^{-1}$, which corresponds to about 200 inelastic pp collisions per bunch crossing) and radiation damage (particle fluence up to $2\times10^{16}\;\rm n_{eq}/cm^2$). Characterisation with test beams of ITk pixel detectors for the upgrade of the ATLAS Inner Detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS Inner Detector will be replaced with an all-silicon tracking detector (ITk) to cope with the new challenging conditions arising with the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), where the instantaneous luminosity will increase by three times compared to that of the LHC, and bring higher radiation damage. A study on Scintillating Fiber tracker optimisation for the LHCb upgrade / Piucci, Alessio (Ruprecht-Karls-Universitaet Heidelberg (DE)) ; Mogini, Andrea (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (FR)) ; Esen, Sevda (Ruprecht-Karls-Universitaet Heidelberg (DE)) ; Nikodem, Thomas (Ruprecht-Karls-Universitaet Heidelberg (DE))
New tracking stations made from scintillating fibres are designed as a part of the LHCb Upgrade to provide the tracking capabilities in the data-taking environment foreseen after Run II. Due to the higher track multiplicity and higher total integrated radiation dose, larger inefficiencies are found in the simulation compared to the current tracker. [...]
