Probing the nature of the $\chi_{c1}(3872)$ state using radiative decays / LHCb Collaboration
The radiative decays $\chi_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow \psi(2S)\gamma$ and $\chi_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow J/\psi\gamma$ are used to probe the nature of the $\chi_{c1}(3872)$ state using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9fb$^{-1}$. Using the $B^+ \rightarrow \chi_{c1}(3872)K^+$ decay, the $\chi_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow \psi(2S)\gamma$ process is observed for the~first time and the ratio of its partial width to that of the $\chi_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow J/\psi\gamma$ decay is measured to be $$ \frac{\Gamma_{\chi_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow \psi(2S)\gamma}} {\Gamma_{\chi_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow J\psi\gamma}} = 1.67 \pm 0.21 \pm 0.12 \pm0.04, $$ where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third is due to the uncertainties on the branching fractions of the $\psi(2S)$ and $J/\psi$ mesons. Search for the decay $B^0\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$ / LHCb Collaboration
A search for the decay $B^0\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$ is performed using proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$. No evidence for the $B^0\to \phi \mu^+ \mu^-$ decay is found and an upper limit on the branching fraction, excluding the $\phi$ and charmonium regions in the dimuon spectrum, of $4.4 \times 10^{-3}$ at a 90$\%$ credibility level, relative to that of the $B^0_s \to \phi \mu^+ \mu^-$ decay, is established. Improved measurement of $CP$ violation parameters in $B_s^0\to J/\psi K^+K^-$ decays in the vicinity of the $\phi(1020)$ resonance / LHCb Collaboration
The decay-time-dependent $CP$ asymmetry in $B_s^0\to J/\psi(\to \mu^+\mu^-) K^+ K^-$ decays is measured using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $6 {\rm fb}^{-1}$, collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. Using a sample of approximately 349 000 $B_s^0$ signal decays with an invariant $K^+ K^-$ mass in the vicinity of the $\phi(1020)$ resonance, the $CP$-violating phase $\phi_s$ is measured, along with the difference in decay widths of the light and heavy mass eigenstates of the $B_s^0$-$\overline{B}_s^0$ system, $\Delta\Gamma_s$, and the difference of the average $B_s^0$ and $B^0$ meson decay widths, $\Gamma_s-\Gamma_d$. Search for the doubly heavy $\mathit{\Xi}_{bc}^{0}$ baryon via decays to $D^0pK^-$ / LHCb Collaboration
A search for the doubly heavy $\mathit{\Xi}_{bc}^{0}$ baryon using its decay to the $D^0pK^-$ final state is performed using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the LHCb experiment between 2016 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. Observation of the $B_s^0 \rightarrow D^{\ast \pm} D^{\mp}$ decay / LHCb Collaboration
A search for the $B^0_s \!\rightarrow D^{*\pm} D^\mp$ decay is performed using proton-proton collision data at centre-of-mass energies of $7$, $8$ and $13\,\text{TeV}$ collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $9\,\text{fb}^{-1}$. First observation of the decay $\Lambda_b^0 \to \eta_c(1S) p K^-$ / LHCb Collaboration
The decay $\Lambda_b^0 \to \eta_c(1S) p K^-$ is observed for the first time using a data sample of proton-proton collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.5 $fb^{-1}$, collected with the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The branching fraction of the decay is measured, using the $\Lambda_b^0 \to J/\psi p K^-$ decay as a normalisation mode, to be $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_b^0 \to \eta_c(1S) p K^-)=(1.06\pm0.16\pm0.06^{+0.22}_{-0.19})\times10^{-4}$, where the quoted uncertainties are statistical, systematic and due to external inputs, respectively. Observation of the $\varLambda^{0}_{b}\to\varLambda^{+}_{c}K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{-}$ decay / LHCb Collaboration
The $\varLambda^{0}_{b}\to\varLambda^{+}_{c}K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{-}$ decay is observed for the first time using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of $\sqrt{s}=7$ and 8 $\rm{TeV}$ collected by the $\mbox{LHCb}$ detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3{\rm{fb}^{-1}}$. The ratio of branching fractions between the $\varLambda^{0}_{b}\to\varLambda^{+}_{c}K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{-}$ and the $\varLambda^{0}_{b}\to\varLambda^{+}_{c}D^{-}_{s}$ decays is measured to be \begin{equation*} \frac{\mathcal{B} ( \varLambda^{0}_{b}\to\varLambda^{+}_{c}K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{-}) } {\mathcal{B} ( \varLambda^{0}_{b}\to\varLambda^{+}_{c} D^{-}_{s})} = (9.26 \pm 0.29 \pm 0.46 \pm 0.26)\times10^{-2}, \end{equation*} where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third is due to the knowledge of the $D^{-}_{s}\to K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{-}$ branching fraction.
