On-Shell Covariance of Quantum Field Theory Amplitudes / Cohen, Timothy (Oregon U.) ; Craig, Nathaniel (UC, Santa Barbara) ; Lu, Xiaochuan (Oregon U.) ; Sutherland, Dave (INFN, Trieste ; CERN)
Scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory are independent of the field parameterization, which has a natural geometric interpretation as a form of `coordinate invariance.' Amplitudes can be expressed in terms of Riemannian curvature tensors, which makes the covariance of amplitudes under non-derivative field redefinitions manifest. We present a generalized geometric framework that extends this manifest covariance to $all$ allowed field redefinitions. [...]

On Amplitudes and Field Redefinitions / Cohen, Timothy (CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Oregon U.) ; Lu, Xiaochuan (UC, San Diego) ; Sutherland, Dave (Glasgow U.)
We derive an off-shell recursion relation for correlators that holds at all loop orders. This allows us to prove how generalized amplitudes transform under generic field redefinitions, starting from an assumed behavior of the one-particle-irreducible effective action. [...]

Anomaly Cancellation in Effective Field Theories From the Covariant Derivative Expansion / Cohen, Timothy (CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Oregon U.) ; Lu, Xiaochuan (Oregon U. ; UC, San Diego) ; Zhang, Zhengkang (UC, Santa Barbara)
We extend our recently-proposed formalism for calculating anomalies of global and gauge symmetries using the Covariant Derivative Expansion to include a general class of operators that can appear in relativistic Effective Field Theories (EFTs). This allows us to prove that EFT operators involving general scalar, vector, and tensor couplings to fermion bilinears only give rise to irrelevant anomalies, which can be removed by an appropriate choice of counterterms, thereby confirming the absence of new constraints from anomaly cancellation on the Standard Model EFT..

A note on NMHV form factors from the Gra{\ss}mannian and the twistor string / Meidinger, David (Humboldt U., Berlin ; Humboldt U., Berlin, Inst. Math.) ; Nandan, Dhritiman (U. Edinburgh, Higgs Ctr. Theor. Phys. ; Santa Barbara, KITP) ; Penante, Brenda (CERN) ; Wen, Congkao (Santa Barbara, KITP ; Caltech ; UCLA)
In this note we investigate Gra{\ss}mannian formulas for form factors of the chiral part of the stress-tensor multiplet in $\mathcal{N}=4$ superconformal Yang-Mills theory. We present an all-$n$ contour for the $G(3,n+2)$ Gra{\ss}mannian integral of NMHV form factors derived from on-shell diagrams and the BCFW recursion relation. [...]

Recursion for Wilson-line Form Factors / Cohen, Timothy (CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Oregon U.) ; Riembau, Marc (CERN)
Matrix elements of Wilson-line dressed operators play a central role in the factorization of soft and collinear modes in gauge theories. When expressed using spinor helicity variables, these so-called form factors admit a classification starting from a Maximally Helicity Violating configuration, in close analogy with gauge theory amplitudes. A Covariant Action with a Constraint and Feynman Rules for Fermions in Open Superstring Field Theory / Michishita, Yoji (CERN)
In a way analogous to type IIB supergravity, we give a covariant action for the fermion field supplemented with a constraint which should be imposed on equations of motion, in Berkovits' open superstring field theory. From this action we construct Feynman rules for computing perturbative amplitudes for fermions. [...]
