Measurement of the inclusive charmless semileptonic branching fraction of beauty hadrons and a determination of |$V_{ub}$| at LEP / L3 Collaboration
A measurement of the inclusive charmless semileptonic branching fraction of beauty hadrons, $\mathrm{b}\rightarrow\mathrm{X}_\mathrm{u }\ell\nu$, has been performed using almost two million hadronic Z decays collected by the L3 experiment at LEP, yielding the result: \begin{displaymath} \mathrm{Br}(\mathrm{b}\rightarrow\mathrm{X}_\mathr m{u}\ell\nu) = (3.3 \pm 1.0 \pm 1.7)\times 10^{-3}. \end{displaymath} The first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Photon structure functions and azimuthal correlations of lepton pairs in tagged $\gamma\gamma$ collisions / L3 Collaboration
Measurements of the QED structure of the photon based on the reaction ee to ee gamma /sup (*)/(P/sup 2/) gamma *(Q/sup 2/) to ee mu mu are discussed. This review is an update of the discussion of the results on the QED structure of the photon and covers the published measurements of the photon structure functions F/sub 2//sup gamma /, F/sub A//sup gamma / and F/sub B//sup gamma / and of the differential cross-section d sigma /dx for the exchange of two virtual photons. Study of the hadronic photon structure function $F^\gamma_2$ at LEP / L3 Collaboration
The hadronic photon structure function $F^\gamma_2$ is studied in the reaction $\mathrm{e^+e^-} \rightarrow \mathrm{e^+e^-hadrons}$ at LEP with the L3 detector.
