We propose cost-effective production of medium grain (MG) niobium (Nb) discs directly sliced from forged and annealed billet. This production method provides clean surface conditions and reliable mechanical characteristics with sub-millimeter average grain size resulting in stable SRF cavity production. [...]

Search for new heavy resonances in leptonic or hadronic final states with the ATLAS detector / Feickert, Matthew (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many theories beyond the Standard Model (BSM) predict new phenomena at the highest energies accessible by the LHC. Several searches for new heavy resonances have been performed by the ATLAS experiment, covering various BSM models. [...]

Likelihood preservation and statistical reproduction of searches for new physics / Feickert, Matthew (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) ; Heinrich, Lukas (European Laboratory for Particle Physics, CERN) ; Stark, Giordon Holtsberg (Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics, University of California Santa Cruz) ; Cranmer, Kyle (Department of Physics, New York University) /ATLAS Collaboration
Likelihoods associated with statistical fits in searches for new physics are beginning to be published by LHC experiments on HEPData [arXiv:1704.05473]. The first of these is the search for bottom-squark pair production by ATLAS [ATLAS-CONF-2019-011]. [...]

A Search for Boosted Low Mass Resonances Decaying to the $b\bar{b}$ Final State and Produced in Association with a Jet at $\sqrt{s} = 13~\mathrm{TeV}$ with the ATLAS Detector / Feickert, Matthew Carl
A search in the high momentum regime for new resonances, produced in association with a jet, decaying into a pair of bottom quarks is presented using an integrated luminosity of $80.5~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ recorded by the AT [...]

Searches for boosted low mass resonances decaying to $b$-quarks with the ATLAS detector / Feickert, Matthew (Southern Methodist University, Department of Physics) /ATLAS Collaboration
A search for new resonances decaying into a pair of bottom quarks in the boosted regime is reported using an integrated luminosity of $80.5~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. For the resonance to be boosted, an extra jet with high transverse momentum is required. [...]
