The ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider: a description of the detector configuration for Run 3 / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS detector is installed in its experimental cavern at Point 1 of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. During Run 2 of the LHC, a luminosity of L=2×1034cm2s1 was routinely achieved at the start of fills, twice the design luminosity. [...]

The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) on the International Space Station. I: Results from the test flight on the space shuttle / AMS Collaboration
The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) was flown on the space shuttle Discovery during flight STS-91 (June 1998) in a 51.7° orbit at altitudes between 320 and 390 km . A search for antihelium nuclei in the rigidity range 1– 140 GV was performed. [...]

Production and Integration of the ATLAS Insertable B-Layer / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
During the shutdown of the CERN Large Hadron Collider in 2013-2014, an additional pixel layer was installed between the existing Pixel detector of the ATLAS experiment and a new, smaller radius beam pipe. The motivation for this new pixel layer, the Insertable B-Layer (IBL), was to maintain or improve the robustness and performance of the ATLAS tracking system, given the higher instantaneous and integrated luminosities realised following the shutdown. Toward High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), the whole ATLAS inner tracker will be replaced, including the semiconductor tracker (SCT) which is the silicon micro strip detector for tracking charged particles. In development of the SCT, integration of the detector is the important issue. [...]

Double-sided super-module R&D; for the ATLAS tracker at HL-LHC – A summary / Clark, A (Geneva U.) ; Barbier, G (Geneva U.) ; Cadoux, F (Geneva U.) ; Endo, M (Osaka U.) ; Favre, Y (Geneva U.) ; Ferrere, D (Geneva U.) ; Gonzalez-Sevilla, S (Geneva U.) ; Hanagaki, K (Osaka U.) ; Hara, K (Tsukuba U., GSPAS) ; Iacobucci, G (Geneva U.) et al.
Following successive upgrades of the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) until approximately 2025, the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) is expected to deliver pp collisions of centre-of-mass energy s=14TeV with a levelled peak luminosity in excess of 5×1034cm−2s−1 and an integrated luminosity of order 300fb−1 per year. The ATLAS Collaboration intends to replace the existing Inner Tracking Detector by a new tracker, with readout electronics as well as silicon pixel and strip sensor technology capable of maintaining the excellent mechanical and electrical performance of the existing tracker in the severe radiation and high collision rate environment of the HL-LHC. Mechanical studies towards a silicon micro-strip super module for the ATLAS inner detector upgrade at the high luminosity LHC / Barbier, G (Geneva U.) ; Cadoux, F (Geneva U.) ; Clark, A (Geneva U.) ; Endo, M (Osaka U.) ; Favre, Y (Geneva U.) ; Ferrere, D (Geneva U.) ; Gonzalez-Sevilla, S (Geneva U.) ; Hanagaki, K (Osaka U.) ; Hara, K (Tsukuba U., GSPAS) ; Iacobucci, G (Geneva U.) et al.
It is expected that after several years of data-taking, theLarge Hadron Collider (LHC) physics programme will be extended tothe so-called High-Luminosity LHC, where the instantaneousluminosity will be increased up to 5 × 1034 cm−2 s−1. For the general-purpose ATLASexperiment at the LHC, a complete replacement of its internaltracking detector will be necessary, as the existing detector willnot provide the required performance due to the cumulated radiationdamage and the increase in the detector occupancy. Microelectron.) ; Bernabeu, J (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Blanchot, G (CERN) et al.
The ATLAS experiment is a general purpose detector aiming to fully exploit the discovery potential of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. It is foreseen that after several years of successful data-taking, the LHC physics programme will be extended in the so-called High-Luminosity LHC, where the instantaneous luminosity will be increased up to 5 × 1034 cm−2 s−1. Prototype ATLAS IBL Modules using the FE-I4A Front-End Readout Chip / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
The ATLAS Collaboration will upgrade its semiconductor pixel tracking detector with a new Insertable B-layer (IBL) between the existing pixel detector and the vacuum pipe of the Large Hadron Collider. The extreme operating conditions at this location have necessitated the development of new radiation hard pixel sensor technologies and a new front-end readout chip, called the FE-I4. [...]
