Basics of Sexual Wellness for Mental Health Professionals
This start anytime, asynchronous course is offered by the University of North Florida Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. This course is worth 2 clock hours of NBCC credit and is presented by Dr. Robert J. Zeglin, NCC, CST, LMHC.
Course Objectives:
- Define sexuality in a comprehensive, non-stigmatizing, medically accurate way
- Know and describe the five Circles of Sexuality
- Apply the PLISSIT model to sexuality-related cases
- Utilize the Knowledge-Based Decision-Making Matrix
- Formulate accurate sexuality-related diagnoses

Learn the Basics of Clinical, Technical, Legal, and Ethical Tele-Mental Health Practice
This course is offered by the University of North Florida Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. This course is worth 3 clock hours of NBCC credit and is presented by Erica L. Whitfield, MACP, LMHC, BC-TMH.
Course Objectives:
- Define tele-mental health
- Identify clinical benefits and drawbacks of tele-mental health
- Describe common technological platforms used for tele-mental health practice
- Explain basic ethical and legal concepts relevant to tele-mental health practice
- Identify ways to implement tele-mental health in different settings

An Introduction to AEDP
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy
This course is offered by the University of North Florida Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. This course is worth 2 clock hours of NBCC credit and is presented by Rose Zayco, Psy.D.
Course Objectives:
- Name the theoretical underpinnings that inform the AEDP therapeutic approach
- Describe therapist behaviors that build a secure attachment relationship
- Summarize the 4 states in the AEDP Clinical Roadmap of the 4-State Model of Emotion Processing
- Describe the AEDP technique of portrayals as a primary way of facilitating a corrective emotional and healing experience
