     James Francis Douglas-Scott-Montagu was born on 6 February 1873.¹ He was the son of Henry John Montagu Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 1st Baron Montagu of Beaulieu and Hon. Cecily Susan Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie.¹ He died on 2 March 1874 at age 1.¹

     Hon. Rachel Cecily Douglas-Scott-Montagu was born circa 1870. She was the daughter of Henry John Montagu Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 1st Baron Montagu of Beaulieu and Hon. Cecily Susan Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie.^1,2 She married Henry William Forster, 1st and last Baron Forster, son of Major John Forster and Emily Jane Case, on 3 June 1890.³ She died on 12 April 1962.²
     Her married name became Forster. After her marriage, Hon. Rachel Cecily Douglas-Scott-Montagu was styled as Baroness Forster on 12 December 1919. She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1926.³ She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)³

     Henry William Forster, 1st and last Baron Forster was born on 31 January 1866.¹ He was the son of Major John Forster and Emily Jane Case.^1,2 He married Hon. Rachel Cecily Douglas-Scott-Montagu, daughter of Henry John Montagu Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 1st Baron Montagu of Beaulieu and Hon. Cecily Susan Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, on 3 June 1890.¹ He died on 15 January 1936 at age 69, without surviving male issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Sevenoaks between 1892 and 1918.¹ He held the office of a Lord of Treasury between 1902 and 1905.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He held the office of Finance Secretary to the War Office between 1915 and 1919.¹ He was a member of the Army Council between 1915 and 1919.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1917.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Bromley between 1918 and 1919.¹ He was created 1st Baron Forster, of Lepe, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 12 December 1919.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1920.¹ He held the office of Governor-General of Australia between 1920 and 1925.¹ He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)¹ On his death, his title became extinct.¹

     2nd Lt. John Forster was born on 13 May 1893.¹ He was the son of Henry William Forster, 1st and last Baron Forster and Hon. Rachel Cecily Douglas-Scott-Montagu.¹ He died on 14 September 1914 at age 21, killed in action, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.¹

     Lieutenant Alfred Henry Forster was born on 7 February 1898.¹ He was the son of Henry William Forster, 1st and last Baron Forster and Hon. Rachel Cecily Douglas-Scott-Montagu.² He died on 10 March 1919 at age 21, from wounds received in action, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys.)¹ He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1919.¹

Dorothy Charlotte Forster.¹ He married, firstly, Cecily Kathleen Sparrow, daughter of Dr. Nathaniel Alexander Knox Sparrow, on 24 February 1938.¹ He and Cecily Kathleen Sparrow were divorced in 1945.¹ He married, secondly, Diana Mary Margaret Westcott King, daughter of Captain Edward Westcott King, on 31 July 1946.² He and Diana Mary Margaret Westcott King were divorced in 1955.² He married, thirdly, Betty Gay Ingham, daughter of William Oscar Ingham, on 22 December 1955.² He died on 21 June 1971 at age 56, without male issue.²

Dorothy Charlotte Forster.¹ She married Dorian Joseph George Williams, son of Colonel Vivian Dunbar Stanley Williams, on 7 April 1938.¹ She and Dorian Joseph George Williams were divorced in 1949.¹
     Hon. Ursula Moyra Lubbock usually went by her middle name of Moyra.¹ On 26 August 1931 she gained the rank of a baron's daugther.¹ Her married name became Williams.

     Cecily Kathleen Sparrow is the daughter of Dr. Nathaniel Alexander Knox Sparrow.¹ She married John Lubbock, 3rd Baron Avebury, son of Hon. Harold Fox Pitt Lubbock and Hon. Dorothy Charlotte Forster, on 24 February 1938.¹ She and John Lubbock, 3rd Baron Avebury were divorced in 1945.¹
     After her marriage, Cecily Kathleen Sparrow was styled as Baroness Avebury on 24 February 1938. From 24 February 1938, her married name became Lubbock.

     Diana Mary Margaret Westcott King is the daughter of Captain Edward Westcott King.¹ She married, firstly, John Lubbock, 3rd Baron Avebury, son of Hon. Harold Fox Pitt Lubbock and Hon. Dorothy Charlotte Forster, on 31 July 1946.¹ She and John Lubbock, 3rd Baron Avebury were divorced in 1955.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Charles Fletcher-Cooke in 1959.² She and Sir Charles Fletcher-Cooke were divorced in 1967.²
     From 31 July 1946, her married name became Lubbock. After her marriage, Diana Mary Margaret Westcott King was styled as Baroness Avebury on 31 July 1946. From 1959, her married name became Fletcher-Cooke.²
