     Alexander Ramey-Home, 10th Earl of Home was born on 11 November 1769.¹ He was the son of Reverend Alexander Home, 9th Earl of Home and Abigail Brown Ramey.¹ He married Lady Elizabeth Scott, daughter of Henry Scott, 3rd Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Elizabeth Montagu, on 6 November 1798.² He died on 21 October 1841 at age 71.¹

     Her married name became Douglas. After her marriage, Lady Caroline Scott was styled as Marchioness of Queensberry on 23 March 1810.

Cecily Susan Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, daughter of John Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 2nd Baron Wharncliffe of Wortley and Lady Georgiana Elizabeth Ryder, on 4 August 1865.³ He died on 4 November 1905 at age 72.³

     Lord Walter Charles Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 2 March 1834.¹ He was the son of Walter Francis Montagu Douglas Scott, 5th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Charlotte Anne Thynne.¹ He married Anna Maria Cradock-Hartopp, daughter of Sir William Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 3rd Bt. and Jane Mary Keane, on 7 October 1858.¹ He died on 3 March 1895 at age 61.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 15th Hussars.¹

     Admiral Lord Sir Charles Thomas Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 20 October 1839.¹ He was the son of Walter Francis Montagu Douglas Scott, 5th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Charlotte Anne Thynne.¹ He married Ada Mary Ryan, daughter of Charles Ryan, on 23 February 1883.¹ He died on 21 August 1911 at age 71.¹
     He fought in the Crimean War between 1854 and 1856.¹ He fought in the China War in 1857, in Pearl's Naval Brigade.¹ He was Admiral Commander-in-Chief of the Australian Station between 1888 and 1892.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ He was Admiral Commander-in-Chief of the Plymouth Station between 1900 and 1903.¹
