• 35% hemoglobin
• 2.5% sugar – glucose
• Lipids –cephalin, cholesterol & lecithin
• Protein-Glutathione :insoluble protein which acts as areducing agent
& prevents damage of hemoglobin
• Enzymes – carbonic anhydrase and catalyse
• Ions –Na+,k+,ca2+.
