Defined as the ability to distinguish and classify animals, plants and other naturally-
occurring objects in the environment. Individuals who are praise as ‘nature smart’
excel in applying scientific theories ro real-life scenarios.

Landscape architects, naturalists and scientists are said to be ‘nature smart’.

Ways on how to improve your Naturalist Intelligence:

1. Experience the Great Outdoors.


- In order to be one with nature, you must expose yourself to nature. Break
away from the comfortable confines of your home. (tapos sabihin ko mga examples).
These exhilarating activities will help you improve you skills in categorizing and
recognizing plants, animals, and even rock formations.

2. Do Gardening
- It is one of the best ways to connect you with your primal state. By
tending to your garden on a regular basis, you can boost your knowledge
of the environment,

Visual-Spatial Intelligence

Accurate and abstract visualization is just one of the many skill possessed by
‘picture smart’ persons. (examples)

Ways to hone this kind of skills:

1. Play Puzzle
- The most entertaining way to hike your IQ by a few notches is to play
puzzles. Games such as Rubik’s Cube, Jigsaw Puzzles and spatial puzzles
that require you to maneuver items inside your head will do wonders for
your visual-spatial skills.

- It cannot be denied that this game has multitudes of brain benefits. Apart
from boosting memory and enhancing problem-solving skills, chess
improves one’s creativity – one of the most important aspects for visual-
spatial intelligence.
3. Utilize Google Earth and Google Map often.
- Apart from helping you find your way in an unfamiliar place, these
applications can help you boost your visual-spatial intelligence. After all,
these programs help develop your sense of direction. These tools can
transform you into a navigational pro, even without the need for a map.
Navigating the city without the use of GPS is how you would improve
your visual-spatial skills.

A. Rehearse by practicing answering questions commonly asked in job


interviews.

Some examples are:

1. Why do you want to work for this company?


2. Why should this company hire you?
3. Tell me about yourself.
4. What can you do for us that other candidates can’t?
5. What do you know about this industry?

B. Research about the company, its products and its company goal.
C. Answer questions clearly and concisely.
D. Listen well so you can communicate.
E. Analyze the questions well before responding.
F. Be spontaneous especially when answering vague questions like “tell
me something about yourself”
G. Dress appropriately and avoid unnecessary movement and gesture.

Do’s and Don'ts During Job Interviews according to Hansen (2015):

Do’s:

- Do take practice run to the location where you are having the interview
or otherwise be sure you know exactly where it is and how long it takes
to get there.
- Do your research and know the type of job interview you will encounter.
And do prepare and practice for interview, but don't memorize or over-
rehearse your answers.
- Do plan to arrive about 10 minutes early. Late arrival for a job interview
is never excusable.
- Do bring extra resumes to the interview.
- Do make good eye contact with your interviewer(s) and show enthusiasm
in the position and the company.

Don’ts:

- Don't chew gum during the interview.\


- Don't be soft spoken. A forceful voice projects confidence,
- Don't ever lie. Answer questions truthfully, frankly and succinctly. And
don't over answer questions.
- Don't answer questions with a simple “yes” or “no”. Explain whenever
possible.
- Don't inquire about salary, vacations, bonuses, retirement, or other
benefits until after you've received an offer. Be prepared for a question
about salary requirements, but do try and delay salary talk until you have
an offer.
- Don't bring up or discuss personal issues or family problems.
