- Most first-priority applicants of Norgwegian universities, 23 160, og the university that recruits the most nationally
- 43 422 registered students, about half within science and technology
- 85 per cent of the students are in Trondheim, 9 per cent in Gjøvik and 6 per cent in Ålesund
