The section “General Surgery” of the Journal of Clinical Medicine aims to publish articles on the latest research in the field of general surgery. In particular, we welcome high-quality papers on the following topics:

  • Innovation and optimization of surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, and other emerging technologies;
  • Prevention and management strategies for surgical complications, such as trauma repair, surgical infections, and postoperative recovery;
  • The interrelationship between surgery and chronic diseases, including the impact of surgery on the course of chronic diseases and the impact of chronic disease comorbidities on the prognosis of surgery;
