The Taxpayer First Act Report to Congress directed the IRS to formulate recommendations to reimagine the taxpayer experience, enhance employee training and restructure the IRS to increase collaboration and innovation. In April 2023 we incorporated this work into the Inflation Reduction Act Strategic Operating Plan.
