OCIO Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is to enable delivery of HUD programs, services, and management processes by providing high-quality information technology (IT) solutions and services.

 

OCIO Vision

 

As technology continues to reshape our world, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) must be prepared to meet and exceed the rising expectations of the citizens we serve as well as our business partners by providing a modern information technology that is secure, accessible, and cost effective; that meets customer needs; and exceeds their expectations. We have been working hard at HUD to modernize the information technology (IT) that supports our business processes and serves our citizens. The rapid evolution of technology means HUD must be a government leader in understanding and applying new technologies to better support the mission and business operations of the Department.
