The Latin American Peace Science Society is a network of scholars committed to the scientific study of the causes and consequences of violent conflict, conflict management and peace. The aim is to gather academicians from all over Latin America and beyond to promote academic progress in the understanding of peace and conflict and building an international academic community.

​Call for applications for LAPSS 2025


​





LAPSS 2025 will be hosted by Universidad ICESI and will take place in Cali on January 17 and 18. No fee will be charged! 

LAPSS 2025 will feature a panel track with the following format: 

  • Each presentation will be 30min divided as follows: 10-15min presentation, followed by 15-20min Q&A with the audience.
  •  Each panel will feature 3 or 4 papers. 

Abstract submission deadline: September 30th, 2024. 

Acceptance decisions will be sent out by October 20th, 2024.
