Viral ring girl Sydney Thomas reveals her sporting dream... and why she nearly missed Jake Paul-Mike Tyson

Sydney Thomas' has now revealed what her biggest dream in sports would be a week after she went viral as one of the ring girls during the Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight.

Thomas wants to continue her modeling career by appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Plenty of females from the sports world will be appearing in the 2025 edition of the magazine.

Those gracing the magazine's pages in swimwear will include Cameron Brink, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Gabby Thomas, and Eileen Gu.

Thomas' desire to join them one day comes with her admission that she has 'contacts over there,' per TMZ.

Thomas also revealed she would have missed the event should it have taken place on its original date of July 20.

'They had reached out to me and had found me through social media for the original fight over the summer that was supposed to happen, and I was going to be in Europe when that was going to go on, so I had to decline,' Thomas said.

'And I was so sad about it, and I wanted to do it so badly. But then Tyson got hurt, so they rescheduled, and then it ended up that it worked out that I was going to do that fight still. That's how it worked out. I didn't apply for anything, but they had just reached out to me.'

Paul ended up fighting MMA star Mike Perry in July instead, knocking him out, which he was unable to do against Tyson.

The ring crew of Thomas, Lexi Williams, Raphaela Milagres, Virginia Sanhouse, and Delia Sylvain are considered by some to be the real winners of the Netflix mega event.

Each of them have expanded their social-media following in the seven days following the fight.
