Conservative campaign group Advance Australia outstripped Climate 200 in attracting donations as it built up its war chest before the Indigenous Voice to parliament referendum.
Political funding disclosures released by the Australian Electoral Commission highlighted the willingness of wealthy Australians to put their private money behind advocacy groups and political causes rather than the major parties.
