A tech demo (technology demonstration) is a prototype, rough example or an otherwise incomplete version of a product, put together with the primary purpose of showcasing the idea, performance, method or the features of the product. They can be used as demonstrations to the investors, partners, journalists or even to potential customers in order to convince them of the viability of the chosen approach.
Computer technology demos should not be confused with demoscene-based demos, which, although often demonstrating new software techniques, are regarded as a stand-alone form of computer art.

Tech demos are often used in the computer industry, emerging as an important tool in response to short development cycles, in both software and hardware development.

Demo Slam, a website from Google Inc., as launched with the slogan "Bring your creativity. Bring your tech. Just bring it in general, fool! Demo Slam is here!", is a large collection of technology demos uploaded by users, and some of the Google executives as well, which will go to the 'Contender'
Sales Engineering staff, often bearing the title Sales Engineer or Presales Consultant, will prepare Tech demos for business meetings or seminars to show capabilities of business products. This can include both software and hardware products, and can show multiple products integrating together. Usually a Demo is less than a Proof of concept, but can come some of the way to showing how a business project may be justified. Large companies with tens or hundreds of Sales Engineers will often have a team who specialize in the production of Demo systems and plans.
Occasionally, technology demos prove out to be rigged or even completely fake. For example, an empty case with some blinking LEDs can be presented as the product, a demo of Internet Quality of Service software can be done on a LAN with manually regulated traffic, and pre-rendered videos or pictures with notably higher-quality models can be presented as actual game footage.

Beulah (real name Beulah Garside) is a British female singer-songwriter. She grew up in the Peak District and attended Repton School. This country setting and her family gave her the inspiration for her debut album Mabel and I. The album is a mixture of folksy ballads, jazz and country.
Beulah is a songwriter, singer and producer from Manchester, England. Her career has spanned 15 years and has taken her from the UK to the USA; to Brazil and Japan.
Early years were spent working with Gary Barlow (Take That) and Eliot Kennedy (Bryan Adams & The Spice Girls).
At 22 she moved to London and met Jon Kelly (Kate Bush) and they, along with Universal Records, made her debut album "Mabel & I".
However she spent most of her career in the United States, namely Nashville and Los Angeles, working alongside Grammy Award winning writer/producer David Foster and songwriter Sarah Siskind ('Simple Love' for Alison Krauss) She was also fortunate enough to sing with Andrea Boccelli.
She has written with many well respected writers such as Crispin Hunt (The Longpigs, Rebecca Ferguson, Rihanna); Steve Booker (Duffy) and Amy Foster (Michael Buble, Katy Perry).
In William Blake's mythology, Beulah, originally Hebrew בְּעוּלָה (bÿ'ulah, traditionally transliterated “Beulah” /ˈbjuːlə/, that means: "married" or "espoused") is "the realm of the Subconscious, the source of poetic inspiration and of dreams." It is also, according to Blake scholar Alexander S. Gourlay, "a dreamy paradise where the sexes, though divided, blissfully converse in shameless selflessness. Beulah is available through dreams and visions to those in Ulro, the utterly fallen world." Between Eternity and Ulro, it is imagined as a place without conflict similar to a conventional image of heaven or Eternity. However, for Blake, the idea of an everlasting peaceful Eternity is misguided and fallen.
Beulah, in its Hebrew origins, often indicates, the happy and delightful for the Lord country (See Isaiah 62:4). This is one of names given to Palestine when it is rejoined to God after the exile, a prophesied attribute of the land of Israel. John Bunyan in his Pilgrim's Progress also uses the name "Beuhlah". Joseph Hogan describes Bunyan's Beuhlah as "the pastoral earthly paradise (in sight of the Heavenly City) where Christian and the other pilgrims rest before crossing the River of Death and entering the Heavenly City."
Beulah was an indie rock band from San Francisco, California, often associated with The Elephant 6 Recording Company.
The band was formed by Miles Kurosky and Bill Swan in San Francisco in 1996, while the pair were both working in the same office. The pair discovered that they shared similar musical tastes and, disregarding some mutual dislike, decided to form a band. This early incarnation of Beulah recorded a song every 6 weeks for 16 months, on their 4-track recorder. The band received attention from The Apples in Stereo frontman and Elephant 6 member Robert Schneider, who expressed interest on releasing what was to be their first single, A Small Cattle Drive in a Snow Storm, on Elephant 6 records. Their first album, Handsome Western States, was released in the same year, also on Elephant 6 and mastered by Schneider. The record soon sold out. This association with the collective has continued throughout their career, despite the fact that they did not release anything more on the label - they are listed as being part of the close family of Elephant 6 bands, on the official Elephant 6 website , and they have toured with other collective members, such as Dressy Bessy, Ladybug Transistor, The Olivia Tremor Control and of Montreal. In order to tour in support of the album, Steve La Follette, Steve St. Cin, and Pat Noel joined the band, with the band playing their first shows in support of the Apples.

There's a Wonderland for Alice,
There's a tall beanstalk for Jack,
The sleepy train will take you there,
So safely down the track,
With the sandman at the throttle,
You'll be off to dreams and back,
It's pillow time again.
You will meet all your storybook friends
As you go down Mother Goose Lane,
Romp with Jack and Jill,
Up and down the hill,
And try to put Humpty together again.
Close your sleepy eyes and listen
While we take a little hop,
The candy whistle's blowing,
Don't you miss your station stop,
So, good night, my weary farer,
Pleasant dreams to you, old top,
It's pillow time again.
You will meet all your storybook friends
As you go down Mother Goose Lane,
Romp with Jack and Jill,
Up and down the hill,
And try to put Humpty together again.
Close your sleepy eyes and listen
While we take a little hop,
The candy whistle's blowing,
Don't you miss your station stop,
So, good night, my weary farer,
Pleasant dreams to you, old top,
It's pillow time again,
It's pillow time again,
It's pillow time again,
It's pillow time again,
It's pillow-pillow time again.
