These are the officially announced toys for the 2009 live-action film Revenge of the Fallen.

The toyline was preceded by the Movie toyline and led directly into the 2010 Transformers toyline.

Among fans, many entries in the RotF toyline are notorious for their level of complexity - at times, baffling even the most hardcore fans of elaborate transformation schemes. The complexity would be toned down for follow-up toylines in subsequent years.

In late 2009/early 2010, the toyline was released under the subline imprint N.E.S.T. Global Alliance, which was centered on the NEST organization from the film. This promotion, however, did not exist in Europe.

This unique two-pack of Leader Class Jetfire and Buster Optimus Prime was initially released only in Hong Kong. It was apparently produced by TakaraTomy, but was allegedly distributed by Hasbro UK. Details are still sketchy at this point. In mid-2010, it was released in Australia by Hasbro Australia. In early 2011, it was released in the Philippines.

  1. This toy was released as a Toys'R'Us exclusive in Canada and Australia. In the United States, Recon Ravage was available of a mail-order exclusive earned by collecting a mission guide available only in the Battlefield Bumblebee vs. Infiltration Soundwave two-pack and three NEST stickers available with other N.E.S.T. Global Alliance figures.
