Skullcruncher participated in the final battle of the Great War. Warzone Fifteen years later, he fell under Mandroid's control, where he menaced Mo, Robby, and Alex Malto at Mandroid's lab, smashing through a wall and using his crocodile mode to shake the Maltos' car around. Interrupted by Twitch, he threw the car, which was caught by Thrash. Skullcruncher fired on Thrash, knocking him away. While Twitch continued to fire on him, Thrash knocked him over with his newly acquired alternate mode. Back on his feet, he fired at the fleeing Mo and Thrash while Twitch and Robbie continued their barrage. Eventually, Skullcruncher and the other enthralled Decepticons were freed from Mandroid's control and apprehended. Secret Legacy, Part 2 He was subsequently incarcerated in a secret Decepticon holding facility beneath G.H.O.S.T. headquarters. Classified

When Hashtag's Internet connection to the G.H.O.S.T. facility inadvertently took the detention blocks' anti-energon fields offline, Skullcruncher was among the prisoners set free. Hashtag, Twitch, and Bumblebee found him curled up in his open cell while they were looking for a way out of the facility. Skullcruncher did not attempt to attack them, but became enraged upon spotting guards wearing the G.H.O.S.T. insignia. Skullcruncher plowed through the guards as well as Soundwave as he ran through the hallway and smashed through the wall, with Bumblebee and the Terrans following behind. Outside, Skullcruncher rose up behind Bumblebee while raising his sword before G.H.O.S.T. agents shot him and took him back into custody. Hashtag: Oops

Skullcruncher and the other Decepticons were sprung by Nightshade and Twitch when the pair turned up to free Bumblebee and Schloder, but were disinterested in helping them battle Mandroid. The Last Hope, Part 1

A year later, Skullcruncher was one of several Decepticons dispached to the naval yard to intercept the Autobot's attempts to recover more Embershards,tussling with Optimus Prime. The encounter turned out to be a diversion, and they returned to base. Aftermath Skullcruncher was present when Starscream made a grand speech to the Decepticons about his plans to make Earth into "New Cybertron" with the Emberstone . When the Autobots and Terrans attacked, he took part in the ensuing battle. When Starscream used the Emberstone to raise Terratronus, a mindless blow from the massive titan destroyed the cliff he and the other the Decepticons were observing the battle from. He then followed Shockwave's attempt to flee, before being stopped cold by the force sheild the Terrans and Maltos created to contain the rampaging titan.Witwicky, Part 2

Part of the fifth wave of EarthSpark "1-Step Flip Changers", Skullcruncher is a simple toy that converts from robot to crocodile and vice versa in a single step. His alt mode can be arrived at much faster by letting him fall backwards onto a solid surface.
Unlike previous One Step Changers, Skullcruncher lacks any robot mode articulation.
Like most of the Earthspark toyline's later releases, Skullcruncher was found listed on a retailer website, this time Entertainment Earth[1], prior to any official announcement by Hasbro.

Notes

  • Skullcruncher is identified as a Croctobot in a prerelease promo for EarthSpark, though no such mention of his species is made in the show proper.
