An example of a Fun Publications-exclusive GoBots prose story published in this reality.

Quadwal 1215.15 Epsilon is a universe in the Quadwal universal cluster. In this world, Tonka's GoBots triumphed over Transformers in the robot toyline sales war of the 1980s and enjoyed many decades of curiously familiar sequels and spin-offs.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

Whereas in the universe we know, Challenge of the GoBots only ran for one season and a movie, in this universe, it received a second season of 65 episodes, and a comic book published by DC Comics. A well-organised fandom runs G-Con, founded by the 3G company and now run by Fun Publications (who also run M.A.S.K. Con). The Transformers get a few nods from GoBots, starting with the Rock Lords: Generation 2 feldspar Trans Former in 1993 and continuing into convention-exclusive fiction. In "Brain Problem Situation", dimension-jumping Transformers even showed up!

Mainstream spin-offs produced in later years include:

Each of these titles is totally unique and bears absolutely no resemblance to any known Transformers book or series we of the wiki can think of.

Vector Prime noted that in this universe, a "popular" running gag involved various versions of Cy-Kill killing Megatron, because those Transformer guys were totally lame, am I right? Ask Vector Prime, 2015/12/21

Notes

  • The designation for this universal stream comes from the date of the post on Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric in which Vector Prime revealed the stories recounted by Cy-Kill described a virtual "second season" of Challenge of the GoBots.
