Beware our glow-in-the-dark-esque white plastic!

While the Land Military Mini-Con Team fights for ideals and freedom, the Night Attack Mini-Con Team fights for profit and fun. Specialists in low-light operations and sneak attacks, the Team often ally themselves with the Decepticons. Not just because the Decepticons let them create havoc, but for protection, as the Team is wanted for war crimes on several planets across the galaxy!

The Night Attack Mini-Con Team consists of:

Toys

Armada

  • Night Attack Mini-Con Team (Mini-Con 3-pack, 2003)
  • Accessories: Broadside missile, 2 Fetch missiles, Scattor missile
  • Known designers: Joe Kyde (deco artist)
The Night Attack Mini-Con Team (Broadside, Fetch, and Scattor) are a redeco of the Land Military Mini-Con Team, a trio of tiny robots who turn into tiny military vehicles, now done up in dark blue and black with white highlights. As Mini-Cons, they each have a Powerlinx port that allows them to connect to toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs, activating gimmicks on the larger toys when attached to a "live" plug. Each toy also has a firing missile launcher (or two) useable in both vehicle and robot modes.
The Team was nominally available as a three-pack, sold in fourth assortment of Mini-Con teams in Hasbro's Armada line, and later also available in Unicron Battles packaging. This latter release was also clamshelled with other Mini-Con packs as "Bonus Packs" sold by various retailers (whether the price was a genuine bonus or not varied); the Night Attack Team has been found packed with the Space Mini-Con Team.
These toys were released in Japan individually as the "Land Military Night Attack Edition", a set of promotional toys given free with the purchase of larger toy. Though the toys are identical, these releases are intended to be the original Land Military Team characters.

  • Galvatron with Clench (Bonus Pack, 2003)
  • Accessories: Broadside missile, 2 Fetch missiles, Scattor missile
The Night Attack Team were also included in a "Bonus Pack" bundle, packed in a long bubble and attached to the top of the Giga-Con-class Galvatron toy packaging. It is currently unknown what retailer offered this set.

Energon

  • Road Wrecker Mini-Con Team / Night Attack Mini-Con Team (Multi-pack, 2004)
  • Accessories: Broadside missile, 2 Fetch missiles, Scattor missile
An unaltered version of the Night Attack Mini-Con Team was released as part of an Energon-series "Mini-Con 6-pack" with the Road Wrecker Mini-Con Team.
This pack was a shared exclusive to both Toys"R"Us and Walmart stores in the US.

Notes

  • In Japan, the Night Attack Team toys are new versions of the Land Military Team characters, rather than separate, new characters of their own.

Foreign names

  • French: Equipe D'Attaque Nocturne des Minimodus (Canada)
  • Spanish: Los Minimodus - Equipo de Ataque Nocturno
