Trombin (EC 3.4.21.5, trombaza, trombofort, topikal, trombin-C, tropostazin, aktivatirani krvno-koagulacioni faktor II, krvno-koagulacioni faktor IIa, faktor IIa, E trombin, beta-trombin, gama-trombin) je enzim.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Selektivno razlaganje Arg-Gly veza u fibrinogenu čime se formira fibrin i odvajaju fibrinopeptidi A i B
Ovaj enzim se formira iz protrombina.
