I tried to find out what happened to those kids, and couldn’t find anything, and nobody seems to be looking for them.

I think it’s likely that he was freelance, and selling his information to anyone who was buying, and that was mostly Russia and Israel, but probably lots of others, too. Probably sold the same info to multiple buyers, increasing his victim’s exposure.

It was often that person’s last post, under that handle, at least.
