  1. There's no need to change correct and standardized label (برچسب) at Wikidata with wrong or vague name (like Castle with castle), if you're opening an article on en.wiki with a different name (which is in most cases a bad idea), you can add it to the alliases on the right (همچنین شناخته می‌شود با).
  2. Many of your articles on en.wiki have gramatically incorrect names (List of Fire temples in Iran, List of Caves..., Mausoleums, Caravanserais, Bazaars, Towers, Minarets). All that should be small (fire temples, caves, mausoleums...), and on the other hand, articles about specific buildings should be capitalized (X Castle, X Bazaar, and so on). Even if you don't correct it by yourself, someone else will, by time.
  3. Someone asked you about references, and I suggest you to check Wikidata because sometimes you'll find it there, either English or Persian. For example, you open Ali Ahmad Domab Castle and there are references for location, architectural period, century, area... I put it. :) Also for hundreds of other buildings.

Haste nabashi. --Orijentolog (talk) 16:09, 15 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

It can stay like this, I'll check it later. I have plans to fix all castle categories in next weeks: by name (full list), by province, by dynastic period, by century, by material, by shape... also to find all coords, proper references, fix naming, etc. It's a very hard job. --Orijentolog (talk) 15:14, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

You opened Temple of Mehri which is a duplicate of Temple of Mehr. --Orijentolog (talk) 13:59, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I will solve it POS78 (talk) 14:21, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
You should redirect "Temple of Mehri" to "Temple of Mehr", not making duplicates again. --Orijentolog (talk) 14:23, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Btw, regarding the citadel, perhaps later, now I'm busy with caves. --Orijentolog (talk) 14:24, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ok thank you POS78 (talk) 14:28, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please also stop replacing good illustrative images with bad irrelevant ones (yours). First one shows street, people, cars, infrastructure, buildings, trees... your shows nothing, just a ruin. --Orijentolog (talk) 02:55, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Funny, you put a good one and then replace it with bad one. --Orijentolog (talk) 12:52, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

This photo is indeed a nice photo, and it already illustrate Hassan Modarres Mausoleum. Therefore, there's no need to put the same photo for the city of Kashmar itself. Beside it, former photo is better for a city because it shows little more than one building. --Orijentolog (talk) 06:27, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Luckily, you have other great photos, so I put one other, because it is of better quality than old one. :) Generally, close-up photos of single buildings are not good to illustrate cities, wider ones are fine. --Orijentolog (talk) 06:37, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

What do you think about this photo? POS78 (talk) 07:23, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Now I see this question! It's a fine photo, but I think this one has better angle. However, considering the facts that (1) your has a higher quality, (2) your is newer, and (3) Kashmar is your city, I prefer to keep your file. In last days I reverted some your photo changes, and I have strong reasons for all. It's nothing personal, for example today I used a photo of ab anbar in Qazvin which you uploaded. --Orijentolog (talk) 19:05, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Only one reason: it's more realistic, from book which is itself more historical (although old). I know that quality of other one is better, but it's highly fictional representation of Cyrus, from biblical (non-historic) book. --Orijentolog (talk) 18:53, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Don't connect Commons categories "Category:Images from..." to anything. These are technical categories and should not be connected to Wiki articles or lists. --Orijentolog (talk) 11:35, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Orijentolog: Ok thanks for your guidance :) POS78 (talk) 12:01, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Orijentolog: One question: Why do you insist that this image be in the Bardaskan County wikidata? POS78 (talk) 16:49, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Bardaskan County is a geographical item, and that photo shows it's geography. --Orijentolog (talk) 17:41, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog: Sorry?! We have much better pictures of the geography of this county! The quality of this image is very low (205 KB). I think this, this, this, this, this, and this is better. Now maybe I will go here later to have some exclusive photos of its geography :) POS78 (talk) 18:44, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reason: all of that photos can be used for something else.

  • This one for the Bardaskan Playa (already used).
  • This the same as above.
  • This for the village (already used).
  • This for the building.
  • This and this for the mountain.

The last two photos are fine, but not representative for Bardaskan County since it's not a mountainous county, it's famous for it's agricultural products and fields. Therefore I still consider that one as the best for a geographical item. --Orijentolog (talk) 19:15, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

So I remember to photograph the pistachio orchards of Bardaskan :) {{User|POS78}}talk 19:36, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Counties

edit

OK, you opened two counties (Qom & Isfahan), but please don't continue. I already explained you that you're doing mistakes. --Orijentolog (talk) 10:29, 13 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Orijentolog: Ok, no problem. I just wanted to be useful :) {{User|POS78}}talk 12:08, 13 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog Hi, I edited this one data according to what I saw in google map. Please look at the map! {{User|POS78}}talk 20:10, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's not about maps, but sources, that book speaks about range in context of Torbat-e Heydariyeh, not Torbat-e Jam. We can not be sure is eastern range considered as a part of it or not. I don't say you're wrong, just we need to be 100% sure! :) --Orijentolog (talk) 20:13, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog The source is not up to date, why are we not up to date? Even Baghdasht mountain is in Kuhsorkh and Bardaskan, but you deleted the name of Bardaskan! This is also the source. The original and more famous name: رشته‌کوه کوهسرخ. {{User|POS78}}talk 20:24, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
How do you mean "up to date"? Tectonic plates moved and geology changed since the book was published? :) Yes, I deleted Bardaskan County because it's on the other side of valley, and as I said, I'm not 100% sure does the range include it. We can not make categories out of guessing. For example, if we don't have sources and all we known that "Alborz is a range in northern Iran" it would be perfectly logical to think it extends to Astara and Afghanistan. However, Talysh Mountains and Kopet Dagh are treated separately in literature. --Orijentolog (talk) 20:54, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog Wow, wow, brother! I just posted the source, take a look at it (By update I meant finding new sources). You should read this text in the source: (Bardaskan)
{{User|POS78}}talk 21:04, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Naaaaa, a bad source, nothing! Here's something better, more professional: [1][2][3][4]. :) The first one is beautiful, it explains geographical and geological details, even has maps. All of these sources speak about Kuh-e Sorkh Mountains, not about Kashmar–Torbat Mountains. Now I'm wondering are they synonyms, or the latter is a smaller subrange? Whatever is the case, my suggestion is that we rename the article to Kuh-e Sorkh Mountains, and then we can include all counties you added. What do you think, Mr. Ostandar? --Orijentolog (talk) 12:52, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog Oh! you are the best, I agree with you, Mr. Predsjednik! :) {{User|POS78}}talk 14:46, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK, consider it solved, I'll do the dirty job (changing, fixing, aaaah). One question, can you open iranarchpedia.ir? I mean, can you open and search something? It shows you results? I can not, most of the time. The worst website ever, I completely lost my motivation to edit here, thanks to their incompetence! --Orijentolog (talk) 14:59, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog It doesn't work anymore! It was for the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development But now we have a new ministry! And restarting it is dangerous for them Because they are valuable information and can cause many places to be destroyed for illegal drilling! Even new registered works are not published! They are really afraid. For example, Nay Tepe is a national register and they did not allow me to disclose its coordinates :) {{User|POS78}}talk 15:21, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps I should send them email. Last time the director himself answered me. --Orijentolog (talk) 23:13, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog Don't you want me to make it for you like this montage? Just give me eight pictures. {{User|POS78}}talk 15:34, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Why don't you make several montages? Like for example Category:Montages of Arak, so Wiki projects can use them by their own will. Just use photos from inside the city, not of the villages around it! :) --Orijentolog (talk) 23:12, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Orijentolog Bardaskan Playa: Please see here! Can you find sources that confirm this map? According to this map, this is a playa between two provinces! {{User|POS78}}talk 20:37, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
You're such a cheater, that you make me mad! You ask me now, in winter, when salt lake has more water so it's larger. In summer, it's only in Bardaskan a County! --Orijentolog (talk) 20:54, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Just joking, of course. ;) I fixed it. Thanks for noticing. --Orijentolog (talk) 21:01, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. :( {{User|POS78}}talk 21:05, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog One thing is confusing me! There are two articles in Cebuano Wiki (1 and 2) In the map above, there was only one playa. Can there be two? Or is it only the northern and southern parts? {{User|POS78}}talk 22:02, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I found two other articles (1 and 2) Four playas or one? {{User|POS78}}talk 22:19, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Cebulano Wikipedia is messed up! They import articles by bot, so there's thousands of mistakes. There are two Geonames codes for salt lake, so Cebulano bot imported it as two articles, although it's one place. --Orijentolog (talk) 22:39, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
So I merged the articles. :) {{User|POS78}}talk 22:58, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog: Q20109419 and Q5868168 are one building. {{User|POS78}}talk 21:00, 4 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the info, I'll solve it as soon as possible. --Orijentolog (talk) 21:06, 4 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Orijentolog Please select an image for this item. I have no idea. Sorry, I am very busy these days and I need you very much. :( {{User|POS78}}talk 22:50, 15 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Orijentolog Hi, I am very confused about Cypress of Kashmar! Please help me. I am also confused about Kashmar and Keshmar. :(
To be more precise, Kashmar got its name from the Shahnameh (کشمر). And I must say that my city's name is new Torshiz (Old Tarshiz according to archaeologists). Reza Shah changed the name of this city based on Shahnameh and local stories.[5] And now Kashmar is the new pronunciation of Keshmar. I don't know if we should have two items or merge them? {{User|POS78}}talk 16:22, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
