Biography[edit]

TrentPax played competitive sports and video gaming since childhood and was later introduced to Dota 2 in 2013. After finding interest into playing the game, he later researched the creators of the game, Valve and began learning the statistics stored by them.[1] He joined Highground.TV in 2014 began his career as talent as the lead statistican. His fascination with statistics made him share interesting bits and his favourite teams and players in a number of broadcasts, as well as answering questions in NA dota streams. He has worked as an analytical co-caster in a variety of tournaments such as DotaPit, Canada Cup, as well as work with WCA and TI5 Qualifiers. Additionally, TrentPax also acted as a statistical consultant for compLexity Gaming during The International 2015 and for a number of tournaments in 2016.[2][3]

After two years at HighgroundTV, He later joined the Moonduck studios on July 9, 2016 as an analytical caster and statistican.[4] In his free time, he streams on Twitch and writes articles on the Moonduck website.

Trivia[edit]

  • Has a B.A. in Geography.
  • Changed his screen name from MotPax to TrentPax in December, 2016 to avoid being confused with co-caster Maut.[5]
