Filip "NEO" Kubski (born June 15, 1987) is a Polish professional Counter-Strike 2 coach and former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive coach and player as well as Counter-Strike player. He is widely considered as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Counter-Strike players of all time.

He was part of the very successful Polish Golden Five lineup that won WCG three times, ESWC twice, and IEM World Championship twice. In CS:GO, NEO was a member of the longest-standing roster in its history that gathered notable victories at EMS Katowice 2014, ELEAGUE S1, and DH Las Vegas 2017 under the Virtus.pro banner.

  • Became the majority owner of Counter-Strike.PL on April 1st, 2011. [1]
  • Collaborated with ZOWIE on the FK line of gaming mice. It was named after his initials and released in February 2013.

  • NEO is one of the few players to win three WCG series. The others being his then-teammates in the original Golden Five: TaZ, kuben, and Loord.
  • At 4 years, 5 months and 1 day, NEO, TaZ, pashaBiceps, Snax and byali is the longest-lasting lineup in the history of CS:GO. They played their first game on September 5th, 2013 under ESC Gaming's banner and continued to stay together until February 6th, 2018 when TaZ was benched from Virtus.pro to make way for MICHU.
  • NEO and TaZ formed the longest partnership across all versions of Counter-Strike which spans over 6100 days in total. Their first period of alliance lasted 5052 days, from April 8th, 2004 when they joined forces in Team Pentagram to February 6th, 2018 when TaZ was benched from Virtus.pro. Later on, the duo played together for 38 more days, starting when NEO stepped in for ARCY on December 7th, 2019 until ARCY officially disbanded on January 14th, 2020. The duo then extended their partnership further when they reunited in HONORIS on May 18th, 2020. Their last period of collaboration ended when HONORIS ceased operations and TaZ retired as a player on March 31st, 2023.
