Thanks :) I'm glad someone was able to get some enjoyment out of this old game and I'm pleased to hear you appreciate my home-made sound effects!

It's well made and the style of game was a great choice for the "one button" theme. The level design was also excellent, and made the gameplay quite strategic. It would have been nice to see a curser or indicator showing me where my shots were going to go. Music and sounds would also have benefitted it a lot. But otherwise, great game!
As others have said, this game looks really awesome! It also felt very satisfying landing a hit on the enemy and seeing it get flung backwards, and it was also cool seeing the player go flying whenever you take a hit yourself. I agree with the other comments, I felt a little confused when I first started and kinda panicked as this giant face began chasing me. Still, the controls are fairly intuitive and the music/great visuals made this game very intense to play, which I liked.
This really impressed me. Everything in the game - the visuals, the music, and that really cool mechanic of only being able to see your surroundings once you touch them creates an awesome mysterious atmosphere.
Only thing is I spotted a minor typo at the start. It says the controls for left and right are the 'S' and 'D' keys rather than 'A' and 'D'. But if the only critique I can give a game is a slight typo, then the game must be close to perfect!
Pretty cool game, I had fun playing it. I particularly liked the power-ups and the variety of enemies. The music was also well done and I liked how you get to see where the next wave will spawn from.
However, after a while I felt the gameplay got a little repetitive. Apart from the powerups, there were no new features introduced as the game progressed. Maybe you could give the player one tower to start with and have the others unlock as you progress? Also the main menu has no quit button and once I started the game there was no way to return to the main menu except by dying.
Still, nice concept and it has a lot of potential.
This game is really well done. The music was always on point, the puzzles were engaging but most of all I think the it's greatest strength is it's brilliant (if a bit bizarre) story.
Like some have said, the repeating dialog can get a little annoying if you die a few times - particularly on the rotating level. I don't know how many times I heard that 90 degree joke! But really that is just a minor nit pick in an otherwise original and impressive game.
