How To Set Up DNS On the Registrar Side

Domain registrar GoDaddy

Before setting up a domain on the service, go to Tilda's Site Settings → Domain, enter the desired domain name, save the changes, and see what IP address the system prompts you to use to connect the domain.

Sign in to your account.

Go to the "My Domains" tab and click the three dots next to the domain name. Select "Manage DNS" in the dropdown menu.

Delete all A, AAAA, and CNAME records for the root domain indicated by @ and www.

Add a new A record. Type "@" into the "Host" field and point it to 185.215.4.66.

Add another A record. Type "www" into the "Host" field and point it to 185.215.4.66.

Done.

Domain registrar namecheap.com

Before setting up a domain on the service, go to Tilda's Site Settings → Domain, enter the desired domain name, save the changes, and see what IP address the system prompts you to use to connect the domain.

Sign in to your account.

Go to the Dashboard and click on Manage near the domain name you would like to assign to your Tilda project.

Go to the "Advanced DNS" tab.

Add an A Record for the root domain indicated by @ and point it to 185.215.4.66. Add another A Record for www and point it to 185.215.4.66. Done.

Domain registrar Google Domains

Before setting up a domain on the service, go to Tilda's Site Settings → Domain, enter the desired domain name, save the changes, and see what IP address the system prompts you to use to connect the domain.

Sign in to your account.

Go to the "DNS" section.

Add an A Record for the root domain and point it to 185.215.4.66. Add another A Record for www and point it to 185.215.4.66. Save changes.

Done.

Domain registrar Bluehost

Before setting up a domain on the service, go to Tilda's Site Settings → Domain, enter the desired domain name, save the changes, and see what IP address the system prompts you to use to connect the domain.

Sign in to your account.

Go to the "DNS" section.

Find the "DNS Manager" and add an A Record for the root domain and point it to 185.215.4.66

Add another A Record for www and point it to 185.215.4.66. Save changes.

Go to the "DNS & Nameservers" section.

Switch to "DNS Recods". To avoid possible conflicts between the records, remove the other A records

Add an A Record for the root domain and point it to 185.215.4.66

Add another A Record for www and point it to 185.215.4.66. Save changes.

Before setting up a domain on the service, go to Tilda's Site Settings → Domain, enter the desired domain name, save the changes, and see what IP address the system prompts you to use to connect the domain.

Click "Add Site"

Choose a plan—a free one is enough

The system will offer you to use new NS-servers, which must be set on the side of the domain registrar

After changing servers, you need to wait a few hours to apply the changes

After applying the changes, open the DNS tab

Set the entries that are suggested in Site Settings → Domain. Disable Cloudflare proxying by deactivating the orange cloud

Apply the changes after adding entries for the primary domain and the www subdomain

Important: Do not use Cloudflare proxying (orange clouds next to entries in the DNS tab). Using proxying can cause a conflict with your DDoS protection system and make your website inaccessible. In most cases, using this proxying is not necessary.
