Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly; your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 01:28, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

I have blocked that account as an harassment account. It is possible that the person behind that account will create another account and attempt the same thing. If you do experience harassment from another recently created account, do let me know and I will look into it. SilkTork ✔Tea time 20:28, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Potential admin?
Hi, I notice you're on Wikipedia:List of administrator hopefuls. Wikipedia would benefit from more admins. If you have been editing for more than 12 months (preferably 24+ months), and have been editing fairly consistently for the past 6 months (preferably 12+ months) with at least 100 edits a month (this tool will help) - or an explanation for any gaps, and haven't been blocked or topic banned in the past three years - or have a good explanation for a recent block or ban, don't have a recent history of edit warring or arguing with other editors, feel you can explain why you wish to be an admin, can demonstrate some understanding of Wikipedia's procedures and processes, or know where to go for guidance, and are confident enough to go through a RfA, please get in touch with me. We can talk about it some more, and if all looks OK, I'll nominate you or suggest what you can do to improve your chances. SilkTork ✔Tea time 10:33, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Silk, thanks for getting in touch with me. Your timing is a little amusing (with no offense intended), as I just had an RfA which I withdrew. I certainly don't mind if you care to review it and either talk/work with me on it or run screaming into the night. :) I imagine nobody would be particularly thrilled to see me there again quite this soon. There's some pertinent discussion higher up on this page as well. Thanks again for your interest! DonIago (talk) 13:17, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- Ha! I was just going through the list without looking into candidates' contributions at the initial stage. While I didn't !vote at your RfA I did ask you a couple of questions, which you seemed to answer quite reasonably. Sorry, I didn't remember when I tagged your page. Yes, it's generally not done to submit another RfA too soon. At least six months is the usual thing - and some would say 12 months is better. If you're still interested then, get in touch and I'll look through your contributions to discuss with you what chances you may have. This is one user's criteria - that is particularly precise and demanding, most users are not that strict - but it does give you some idea that the community do expect some evidence of commitment to admin style behaviour. - (is still recovering from long road-trip and longer first day back at work) Thanks for your comment on my responses to your questions!
- I really don't know whether I'd go through the gauntlet that is RfA again...probably not unless I had at least two co-nominators. I'd like to think next time around I at least wouldn't shoot myself in the foot so effectively, heh.
- I've spent a little time looking over some of the RfA essays and such (and caused a slight kerfluffle by asking about the appropriateness of thanking RfA participants after the fact), but for the time-being aside from "business as usual"-style editing I'm kind of staying away from the larger aspects of Wikipedia. I'm hoping that will be temporary, but we'll see! Thanks again for your kind words and your assistance below. DonIago (talk) 20:43, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Questions
Why did you revert this edit and what is TwoTwoHello?? Quis separabit? 19:39, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- I reverted it because it wasn't discussed in the article (just left you a note at your Talk page about that). TwoTwoHello was the last editor of the article before you. DonIago (talk) 19:43, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

Biting Newcomers
User talk:NewMutants's talk page . You created the page of a new user with a level 1 warning. You could have created the page with a Welcome message. The account is one day old.--112.79.37.182 (talk) 05:14, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Incorrect. I didn't use a template. DonIago (talk) 05:16, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Miscellaneous Qs
How to use the single reference more than once?
Lots of article talk pages have a large message at the top: This is a part of Wikiproject food and drink, This is a part of Wikiproject Japan. How are they added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by NewMutants (talk • contribs) 06:57, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- WP:REFNAME discusses how you can use the same reference multiple times.
- The template for adding an appropriate project is Template:Wikiproject with the appropriate project name following, such as Template:Wikiproject Food and drink or Template:Wikiproject Japan. DonIago (talk) 13:52, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi
Back the the future has long been categorized as comic science fiction so the category certainly belongs there, unless you are willing to provide contrary evidence.--Taeyebaar (talk) 18:57, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
- Concerns retracted, as comic science fiction does mention soft science fiction. I think it would be more clear if the article itself explicitly included that categorization in some manner, but oh well. DonIago (talk) 19:00, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
