URLs for references?
editCould the author please provide URLs for those references that appear to be printed matter, e.g. Newsday, New York Times. That would be a big help toward WP:verifiability if possible. Sbowers3 (talk) 00:29, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sbowers3 - Thanks for the input! I've added the source for the New York Times and Washington Post article; Newsday doesn't host their archives online. All articles can be found on LexisNexis as well. Aberash (talk) 01:21, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- You'll see that I reformatted some of the references using {{cite web}}. It's not important but it does make their appearance more uniform and makes it easier to not forget something that should be there. You might make the same changes for the other refs. Sbowers3 (talk) 01:58, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sbowers3 - Thank you! As I'm sure you can tell I'm new to editing on Wikipedia and all the formatting is definitely my Achilles' heel. I'll take a look and change the other references in the next couple of day. Aberash (talk) 02:31, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned
editHi, I added the orphaned tag as there is no incoming links from other articles. You could find ways to work in a(n appropriate) link from Injury prevention, pedestrian safety etc.--165.21.154.91 (talk) 14:32, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Biased?
editSome may say that Safe Kids™ is a lobby organisation disguised as a non-profit for the safety of kids. It is largely funded by the car industry, but rather then lobbying for lower speed limits and measures that protect pedestrians but may reduce profits of the industry it spins the issue towards victim blaming. --Panoramedia (talk) 20:52, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
Updating to reflect new mission, programs and website sources.
editThis page is outdated. Updated to reflect new name, mission, org structure, etc. Noob here, so any feedback is greatly appreciated. I think this should be moved to Safe Kids Worldwide, which is the current org name. BeagleWrangler (talk) 21:14, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Added Infobox
editPage move
editBeagleWrangler (talk) 14:42, 16 April 2015 (UTC) Moved this page here from Safe Kids USA because the org has changed its name. Also updated mission and programs to reflect the new org structure.
- That move was by starting a new page; I have history-merged it & text-merged the talk pages. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:38, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
